I didn't see any black smear during my (limited) tests, but as soon as I saw the pixel-row interference I knew it was going back. Way too high a price.
Very disappointed. The X34 S uses the same panel with the same flaws (BGR layout and pixel-row interference) as the other 43"-class 4k monitors. Moreover, it adds a new and exciting flaw where grey text on a grey background will have a super bright pixel at the bottom of the character in HDR mode.
So, got the CG473K S in today! Awesome!
