Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Trust me I understand very good how multicore, HT and whatnot works.
As I understand Windows doesn't not distinguish between true multi core and fake multi core AKA HT.
So bios with HT ON reports 2 cores to Windows, so if I set the NUMPROC=1, which means Windows will only see the 1 core won't...
Hello!
I run a Pentium 4 540 3.2 GHz under Win 7.
I would like to disable HT since all my work revolves around a single threaded app.
The problem is that in BIOS there is no such option.
Is there another way to disable it?
The PDF has been password locked for viewing. I have no idea what I was thinking about 6 months ago when I had set the password to it :(
So any brute-force multi core password crackers out there?
Hello! I need a brute force PDF passwords cracker which must support multicore.
Already have a PDF cracker but it's single core which kinda sucks.
Preferably the program is free but will pay for it if the need arises.
that's exactly the kind of app I was looking for.
Win 7 was nagging me for the past 4 days that the memory was to low even thou Task Manager said it still has 3GB of memory free with superfetch using only 500MB of it. What the frak??

I have a WDC 7200RPM 320GB ATA 8MB hdd that has very annoying vibration which are only enhanced because of the case.
Is it possible to lower the drive RPM's to ~5400 which should reduce the vibration?
I only need this drive for downloading torrents.
ps. I have already set the acoustic...
Tried it and it kinda sucks as does Winamp's own auto tagger. I get much better recognision with my Ericsson K770i trackID recognision.
Is there something better?
I have a bunch of MP3s named by sequential numbers(001-350). I would like a program to automatically rename them to their proper name using some sort of online service.
thx
When running S&M 1.9.1 the CPU test CPU(FPU) at 100% load the PC will restart in about a minute. But otherwise the system is stable.
I ran 8hours orthos, 20passes IntelBurnTest with maximum setting, 6hours of 3DMARK01 looping, 5hours of OCCT 3.1.0 and about 3hours of MEMTEST86+ all were stable...
Looking at our shops I found the following:
Acer V243H
Acer V243HQ
By the looks of it the V243H is better than V243HQ. Even though V243HQ is about 20 more expensive.
And what is the difference between V243HB or V243HBD or just V243H?
