Thanks guys, I found a 6950 2gb for a decent price. I don't really want to game on 3, although racing games might be fun....However, do I do intend to work on 3.
I'm trying to decide on a new video card, but I haven't really been keeping up with them much lately. My trusty old 9800gt died yesterday and after loosing my 285 a year or so back, I want to get something decent to replace it with. My budget is $150-200ish, my last semester of college is...
Sigh 3ed person and no geomod How can they call this red faction?.....I think I will pass. I loved the original, but didn't care for RF:G so I doubt I will like this one. Looks like this is straying too far from the original which rocked in my book
WOW (...ducks for cover...) Serioulsy you expect me to pay monthly for this crap?
COD series -- overpriced AND overrated
Bioshock - It was alright, but it nowhere near lived up to the hype
I want to build a custom desk as that one is falling apart and I can't find any prebuilt ones like I want. I just haven't had the time with college and my job!
The desk is kind of ugly but here is mine:
22" and 19" on the desktop, another 19" for the lappy
I want to eventually get some arms for the right two
and that dell is gone, just had it there while I was working on it :D
I'm thinking about throwing my old 9800gt in my system so I can hook up 2 additional monitors. Will the 650w corsiar I have currently be enough for this along with my existing 285?
I know my board don't support SLI, I just want the quad monitors.
I'm not overclocking and all the hardware...
one of the screws on my motherboard is like that, ran out when building it and used an old one that is similar to that, works fine as long as it don't cover any traces.
using somthing like that is way easier than making them all shorter :D
XP Pro on my main desktop
XP Home on my secondary media desktop
XP Pro/ Win 7 duel boot on the lappy
I used vista on the lappy for nearly a year, and decided to get rid of it. no regrets
I was thinking about doing the same thing, I have a freezer 64 pro from my old system I was thinking about putting on my 920, I haven't been able to find anyone that has done this until now. My CPU idles around 40c and maxes at about 51c with about a 25-30c ambient. This is with the stock cooler...
I have a AC Freezer 64 Pro that is several years old, It is similar to this: HERE, however it is NOT the pwm
I was wondering, would this work good on a Phenom II (rig in sig) I currently have the stock cooler and my cpu idles around 42 and peaks around 50.
Anyone had this type of...
metalols92, It don't really matter what it looks like unless its a show system, as long as it works :D
to the OP, I would just solder it back on, if you don't feel comfortable, find a friend that is good at it.
