I have a AC Freezer 64 Pro that is several years old, It is similar to this: HERE, however it is NOT the pwm

I was wondering, would this work good on a Phenom II (rig in sig) I currently have the stock cooler and my cpu idles around 42 and peaks around 50.

Anyone had this type of heatsink on a Phenom II? What kind of temps do you get?

I don't have a ton of cash for a new cooler, so don't suggest I go out and buy a CM V8...although I DO want one... I was just wondering if this one I had lying around would work better than the stock one.
