    Completely pointless imo, but if you can actually afford it, then sure, 10 % increase. I agree with above, would have been more wise to wait for 9xxx.

    If you have the money go for the 8800GTS, its at least 2X as good as the 8600GT, and not nearly as faulty laud and hot as the 8800GT. (Less chance of RMA)

    God damn! how the hell does everyone get like 5400+ for SM2/SM3 with their 8800GT's!?!?!? Its driving my crazy, I only get 4600/4600 with my Gigabyte 8800GT 700Mhz!
