looks too tall... I think the SG02 only has ~86mm clearance? somewhere around there.
I got the Scythe Zipang 2, but I think I seated my cooler wrong so need to fix the thermal paste and try again.
Hey,
I'm planning a i5 build in SG02 (same as SG01), and I'm still looking into HSF solutions. I am thinking about using the H50, but am not sure how it will fit in the Sugo case, but I see in one of your posts that you did manage to get the radiator in. How did it turn out in the end? were...
I'm thinking about the H50 for my SG02 as well... but it's going to be hard to fit it anywhere. Somebody around here modded it to fit on the left side (next to HDD cage)... anyone have more info?
Hey,
I'm really tempted to do this mod for a i5 upgrade I'm planning, for SG02. However, the C12P is $70... quite expensive. I also saw the Scythe Zipang 2, which looks similar but slightly shorter w/o the fan. Does anyone know how the two compare? I can't seem to find any reviews...
I'm thinking of getting the P55M-UD2 from Gigabyte... does anybody know if the Noctua NH-C12P will fit? I wanna try the Sugo (SG01/02) mod for it :)
Thanks!
Hey,
I'm thinking about upgrading my current SFF build from E5200 to i5... (still trying to clear the $200~250 budget..)
Right now I have:
- Asus P5E-VM HDMI
- Intel E5200 @ 3.7ghz
- 2x2gb G.Skill DDR2-1066
- OCZ ModXStream 500W
- Zalman 8700 HSF
- EVGA 9800gtx+ OC
- 2x 1TB HDD (Seagate and...
I am having a slightly annoying problem... it's been the second time in about two weeks or so that I had a BSOD in Win7, with the following message:
"A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval."
Both times this happened, the computer was...
i would personally trust those apps more than realtemp...
on the other hand, if you're really not sure, you can try putting your finger close to the base of the HSF and see how it feels... if it's only 53C then it should feel slightly warm, and if it's 70+C it should feel quite warm or hot
i usually use hwmonitor, core temp, and everest... they all give the same values for tcase and tcores
speedfan has core temperatures exactly 5C off
i'm not entirely sure what effects tjmax has on core temps... but i know it isn't the "safe limit" on core temperatures. I usually ignore it and...
@dosu:
don't worry about tjmax... just worry about core temperatures and tcase temperatures... vs the intel thermal specs
if you did the pencil mod, that looks about right.
