Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I thought I'd start a thread for this topic in the interest of catching the attention of owners of this motherboard, or anyone who plans on purchasing this board, interested in better cooling. Despite the fact that watercooling your motherboard's VRM and PCH isn't an absolute must as I'm sure...
No, I actually haven't tried that. Do you think the solution could be that simple?
Also, something that I didn't mention in my OP: The reason that passthrough mode isn't good enough is because I'm unable to port forward.
Okay, so I'm trying to set my Comcast-provided Arris / Motorola Surfboard modem/router into bridge mode so that I can use my Netgear R7000 as my main router and use the Surfboard as a simple dummy modem.
As soon as I set the modem into bridge mode however instead of passthrough mode, I can't...
They just have a little bit of coolant gunk from the Mayhem's Pastel Ice White that I was using in my loop around the threads here and there. They're not filthy or anything. I'll probably go with the soap and warm water with a brush since most people seem to agree on that.
Anyone have advice on how to properly clean Bitspower type plated fittings? I was going to use 10% vinegar and distilled water, but I'm afraid that the plating may be stripped. I'm sure someone here has done this before :)
These are all my fittings plus about 25-30 more, so I was going to let...
I'd love nothing more than to ditch it for a new PSU - only problem is I already sleeved this one painstakingly in MDPC with heatshrink - even soldered the double wires and splits on the 24 pin/8 pin EPS combo (basically hell to figure out). For this build I'm sticking with it unfortunately...
My LEPA G1600W PSU went belly-up last night after only about a year of continuous, normal use . It made a pop and fizzle type sound and smelled of burnt electronics so I figure that one of the capacitors blew. I ordered a new one and it'll be here on Monday, but until then I have no way of...
Precision X settings for both cards:
Both of these cards have the 1.212V BIOS mod (it shows up in all programs except Precision X for some reason). They boost to around 1325Mhz on the core and 3250Mhz on the memory. The thing is, they become less stable the more I increase the power...
I currently have a 3970X. Although I know the IB-E CPU is only up to 10% faster, I noticed that people have only been getting it to 4.6Ghz in reviews. I can currently get my 3970X to around 5.0Ghz on water. I have yet to see a 3970X vs 4960X OC comparison, or a multi-GPU comparison. Does...
I have a LEPA 1600W PSU. I'm almost done sleeving it and I have pretty much only the double wires on the 24 pin left. I know HOW to splice them. I'm just nervous that when I try to plug them in it won't work. I need to splice:
Small brown into large orange wire
Small yellow into large...
I'm having a really hard time deciding what colors to go with for this build. I'm at the point where I'm ready to pick out what color(s) I sleeve my PSU, what color coolant I use, and what color lighting I use. I guess because there aren't any bold colors to grab on to like a red, blue, or...
I have bought an active displayport to DVI adapter. The computer still won't identify the monitor. Also, I've seen Eyefinity configurations with VGA included.
