    BIOS updates for AM4 motherboards

With the new BIOS I can now run 3200mhz. I have Corsair Vengence 3466mhz ram. 3466mhz is still not working but getting to 3200mhz has made me happy.

    BIOS updates for AM4 motherboards

Thank you for the pointer. Looks like the last beta is the same version as the last release at this time although :( Maybe it will be updated as we get closer to Zen2 launch.

    BIOS updates for AM4 motherboards

I have an MSI Pro Carbon X370 and I am also worried that it is going to have bad support as the last bios was also September. Really wanted to be able to upgrade to Zen 3 but at this point who knows what will really be supported. I can also not run my ram above 3000 MHz still.

Prices of Radeon RX Vega 56/64 are about to go back up!

Amazing very jealous, I don't have a microcenter nearby and moved away from a city that has two Frys so I am now very sad. My wife doesn't miss it though :P

Prices of Radeon RX Vega 56/64 are about to go back up!

Really wanted to get a Vega because the 56 at $399 is a good value but ended up with an EVGA 1070Ti for $410. The 4(3.5)GB of the 970 was really starting to bring performance down. Still waiting on my $30 from that card, however.

Prices of Radeon RX Vega 56/64 are about to go back up!

Almost looking like this was true. Vega 56 prices are now low stock and prices are jumping again. Shoulda coulda woulda in hindsight.

How much untapped potential does Zen have?

Has the process improved? Earlier silicon lottery numbers had only about 1/5th of 1700 series Ryzen chips being able to hit 4.0 GHz. I am cautiously optimistic about Zen+(or 2 or whatever they are calling it) but I am unsure if much gains will be made at this stage. Ryzen's memory speed...

    Intel Coffee Lake Core i5-8600K vs 7600K at 5GHz Review @ [H]

Roughly 70% of the processors sold by Intel for consumers are for mobile devices. I think the focus on efficiency will continue as it also helps the real money makers of servers.

Facebook Says 10 Million US Users Saw Russia-Linked Ads

They also played on the "far" left as well. It's interesting because more than anything else they seemed to be pushing division. It is amazing how cheap it is to play the average American citizen.

Facebook Says 10 Million US Users Saw Russia-Linked Ads

Below is an example of the "ADs" that Russia was running. It seems to me that they are more like memes that got shared and that you often see people sharing on Facebook.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Launch Trailer

While these stealth games are not my cup of tea, I really enjoyed the first one because it had great story tellling. The second one was a let down, at least to me, in this regard. You can normally pick up the first game for under $10 which makes it a great buy. I also try to go for the "good"...

Pew: Two-Thirds of American Adults Get News from Social Media

Read the study, it is on facts from weekly news on domestic and foreign issues. For example look at these two questions: Which party has the most seats in the House of Representatives right now? To the best of your knowledge, have the opposition groups protesting in Egypt been successful in...

Pew: Two-Thirds of American Adults Get News from Social Media

It is a system designed to get clicks. Check out this cool tool, from last year, that shows the difference in articles shown by Facebook depending on your calculated political views. Gotta get that ad money. http://graphics.wsj.com/blue-feed-red-feed/
