Astro A40 Gaming Headset and MixAmp Review @ [H]

I have had a pair of these for just about 2 years. I have to say, at first they were awesome. But then, about 5 months ago,the mic started to go. It just gave static and then finally it stopped working all-together. I got so frustrated. I went on their site to look this up and they just have...

    i7 860 heat issue

Thanks for the help. Whew. I took off the HSF, wiped off the thermal paste with rubbing alcohol then re-applied some OCZ paste I got from compUSA (only stuff they had). After 2 tries of this, I have a stable processor at around 25-30c idle. Only concern, was running prime95 for about 45min...

    i7 860 heat issue

I just put together a new system with an i7. I came home today after working to find it off. I started it again but it's auto shutting it off within 30seconds to 1 minute. I looked in my Bios and my CPU temp is at 85 degrees. That seems HIGH. I'm using stock HSF and that's in boot up menu on...

    New build wont post.

OK, well now the CPU and RAM LED is lit up, and hte RAM LED is blinking which, according to the manual means it's "tuning the RAM..." but it's been doing that for 5 min straight w/no boot screen.

    New build wont post.

WOW. I was coming here just to post something and I'm running into a similar issue. I have the ASUS P7P55D as well. I'm getting a red CPU_LED light on. I verified i've seated the CPU correctly THREE TIMES. It won't boot. The POST LED is green though...

XPS M-170 Laptop: Full Military Overhaul.

I appreciate all the comments. The overspray was intentional. Go look at real military equipment. It may not be PERFECT but that's the point. If I wanted it perfect I'd have done it by hand and that would have been a bitch.

XPS M-170 Laptop: Full Military Overhaul.

So far no issues with paint wanting to chip at all. I did sand down the metal and I did a lot of light coats of XIM primer which (supposedly) sticks to damn near anything.

Your Laptop Picture [H]ere (read first post for rules please)

Here, have some of my XPS: A full military theme. Took me 3 days to do the case, and about another 4 to finish the details. Works like a charm though! the back star is a military one from WWII that my friend did using a stencil he cut by hand. Left side. Right side.

XPS M-170 Laptop: Full Military Overhaul.

The base green coat of paint. I wasn't happy with the buttons so I ended up re-coloring them later. My good friend did the stencil for the back of the laptop by hand. I'm really happy with it and I really appreciate his help: This is masking for the yellow caution striping...

XPS M-170 Laptop: Full Military Overhaul.

OK, I have had My XPS M-170 for a while now, (3 years to be exact). It still runs games quite nicely and without much in the way of hiccups. I've replaced the screen myself after a crack, and upgraded the RAM to 2GB but that's about it. I've done a couple casemods already that were fairly...

Don't make the AVA Direct mistake !

I find it funny that this guy has gone out of his way to copy/paste this same complaint all over the net. He even registered multiple usernames on cnet to give them low scores. I mean, dude. I have to think that given all the warning signs, the majority of the fault in the matter is...
