A while ago I had a similar username. Due to a few things, (mainly the fact that I'd like my forum usernames to be uniform) I'd really like to recover that.
The problem:
I had a different email address registered, for a hosting domain that I no longer have active.
I don't remember which...
Agree. I have a M11x, and while i love it, the keyboard lights can shut off...but the silver alienware head doesnt go away, and the LED backlight for the screen illuminated the eyes whenever it's on.
ALL m11x's have this issue. Dell is offering a fix, basically they'll send a tach to your house to replace the entire screen assembly for free, even if it's out of warranty.
Absolutely love my M11x. Picked it up for $500, put a 128gb SSD for another $100, and 8gb ram for $72.
Best netbook-style machine I have ever used. I find that with external HDDs, and Steam I never, ever use optical drives.
Yeah, amazon's generated reviews.
Honorable mention is the HP Envy line, 14 and 17 are great. Wife owns an original 14, I'm planning on getting a SB 17"
Yeah, the touchpad is also an issue for me, my big hands hit it all the time when typing and the cursor will jump all over the screen. Plays games like a champ, especially when compared to other machines it's size.
It'd be fine. May not charge the battery as quickly, but most modern laptops can vary voltage input within a few volts, yours is less than one. The amperage is not significant enough of a drop to cause problems.
Well had a response typed out, and I guess it didnt like me...
Anyway it's a newer HD realtek, would have upgraded but my primary system is a laptop until much later this year.
CMOY amps seem reasonably priced, is there certain things I should be looking for in features other than the obvious...
It's the more recent Realtek HD. (I'd be running something different if this was not a laptop)
DAC/AMP? I saw some of these online, to the tune of $300+
I'd love to improve the bass and overall volume of these but I'm not looking to spend a million dollars.
I just bought a pair ot Senn PC-350s. I did a quick search, but didnt find anything really relating to my question...
And I realize this isnt an audio-geek forum....
These sound great, (even shitty Realtek audio throws enough wattage/voltage/whatever to make them loud), but the bass is...
