Okay, since the risk seems minimal I cancelled the PSU order for now. I will buy a cheap power measure tool to check and see how much the rig consumes in total when pushed hard. I plan on doing VR gaming and messing around in Unreal Engine 5.
Ordered a 1000w PSU just to be safe and to be more future proof for when upgrading more components. Thanks for the replies guys.

Cool. Would be awesome if it works. The PSU is a little over 3 years old and hasnt been pushed hard.
Is that risk that the PC will just shut off or that some component will break?
It's been a few years since I bought my PC so I am not sure if the motherboard and PSU will work with the RTX 3090. Also, not sure if the CPU will be a bottleneck here. Let me know what you think.

The touch screen is automatically disabled at random times after i hibernate or restart the pc it seems. Don't know if i need to send a mail to ASUS or if anyone in here knows what can cause this?

the way i see it is that nvidia is OK if you dont want to mine, use photoshop or multiple monitors. Also it costs extra but produce less heat and noise..

a few months ago i bought a 1080p 144hz screen. What is all this 2560 resolution stuff? It seems all reviewers suddenly think gamers use those screens AND HIGHER res???
