sooo the biggest difference right now is cloth vs hardplastic. does the surface make that much of a difference? i've never used a non-cloth mousepad before.

okay it's for certain the fan. if i push it past 50%, it starts making a loud noise. is this usually dust or is there actual...physical damage to it? and thanks! i never thought about using the manual fan control to check this.

hey i have about up to ~$40 i'd be willing to spend on a new mouse pad. I'm using a copperhead that's still going strong, but i'd like to get at least nicer mouse pad than my generic one. any suggestions? :confused:
