Anyone else think 16:9 aspect ratio is far from ideal?

16:9 is best for most competitive games due to the greater FOV. You're at a disadvantage in most FPS and RTS games (like SC2) if you go 16:10.

    Dell P2414H

Are you sure? That's REALLY grainy.

    Dell P2414H

This seems to be the case with 90% of the displays Dell ships. It's like they just don't care. It's also one of the reasons I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on any Dell display--I'll likely have to exchange it multiple times before hopefully getting one that's acceptable. If this process goes on...

    Dell UltraSharp 32" 4K Monitor (UP3214Q)

Yup. Reminds me of the whole LG thin bezel fiasco: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oS96RjxxU7A

    Dell P2414H vs P2314H

The only difference I can seem to find is the % color gamut on Dell's website. The P2414H has 86% color gamut listed, while the P2314H only has 83% color gamut.

New Monoprice 30" IPS w/ 11-11-2013 Launch Revealed!

I have zero tolerance for dead pixels, so I could never order a Monoprice monitor until they improve their policy.

    Dell P2414H vs P2314H

After reading the P2414H review at http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_p2414h.htm, I was wondering if the P2314H shares the same qualities (e.g. PWM-free). There's a $50 difference in price between the 2, but the only apparent difference is 0.8" of screen size, which makes me wonder why...

    Dell P2414H

Any more info on this display? This looks like a good non-grainy alternative to the popular 2412m.

Is there a version without speakers? I don't know what they were thinking putting speakers on these. It adds no value and simply cheapens the appearance.

    Dell U2713HM

Dell doesn't have a good warranty because they're a genuinely good company. They have a good warranty because it enables them to save money by cutting corners on quality control. They bet on most people not noticing or caring about defects. For the small percentage that do, it's a drop in the...
