ok good! Thanks for your response! My post was misleading. It only does it when I've had the monitor turned off and the screensaver is going. Today I left it turned on and when it comes out of screensaver mode it is bright and normal looking. So, I guess it is just kinda like warm up time...

I've had a Dell 2007WFP (s-ips version) for a couple of months now. I never noticed this when it was new, but that doesnt mean it didn't happen. But now I noticed when I come out of screensaver mode my monitor is darker than it is supposed to be and it takes a few moments to come to full...

thanks for the replies about the lighting issue. I'm glad it's not something to be worried about. Now...the other two issues on the other hand worry me because nobody else seems to be having them. :eek:

oh I forgot to add, I THINK I have the s-ips panel because when I go to the service menu it says RT803...which makes me question the viewing angle thing...shouldnt it be fine if it's s-ips? heh Im so lost :confused:

Hey all, I just purchased a 2007wfp and I have to say I LOVE it, except for 3 things. The first issue. In the lower right hand corner just above the power button there is an area that seems to be lighter than the rest of the screen. If I bend down and position myself so I am facing it head...

well my 2007wfp is beautiful, I love it like crazy. My sound card and video cards on the other hand are driving me nuts. I called dell on wednesday to complain about my sound and they had me take the card out and re-seat it. They said they'd call yesterday to see if it helped...they never...

ah, that is good to know! I don't have anything plugged in currently but I might use it in the future. One can never have too many USB ports :D

well I just bought a 2007WFP and I THINK I won the lottery. This is my first LCD screen so I'm not positive on what I am looking for to tell which panel I have. However, it is RT803 and if I look at it from the side with a black screen up it takes on a purple color. So, what do you guys...
