Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So for the last two months my computer has been having random BSOD a couple of times a day.

Everything is working well now with the standard drivers and the ATI Tools.
It shows the temp and I was able to override the stock fan settings depending at what temp it is. Works very well.
Thanks again.
This is my first ATI card so I'm kinda lost. I installed the Omega drivers because they are supposedly good and that they included ATI Tray Tools so I could check the temp and the fan speed.
For the fan settings I have no idea where to find them.
For the temp monitoring I go to Hardware ->...
I changed the motherboard, I was SURE it was the motherboard, but it wasn't.
I tried new RAM an it still randomly shut down.
I unplugged everything except an old HDD that wasn't part of the computer when the problem started to occur months ago. It still randomly shut down.
I thought...
My computer randomly turns off. It doesn't give any error or any symptoms before turning off suddenly.
It's been going on for a month or so. What I know is that it is not a problem related to something outside the computer like a bad power bar or a bad power cable for the PS.
I also know that...
I got a new router today. One computer is wired to it and it's working fine. Also I'm currently on my new laptop and it detects and connects to the wireless network perfectly.
The problem is with my desktop computer in my room. My netgear usb wireless adapter detects and "connects" to it with...
I've never had this kind of problem before so I don't know wtf is going on.
I've got my wireless connection that connects to my router and i got my LAN connection that goes from my computer to the X360.
When I try to share the connection, I get some weird Ip conflict or something.

Ok well that's good.
I managed to make it work again by using the repair option.
So far I've restarted a bunch of time and it didn't freeze. I'm going to do some tests in the next week to figure out the true root of the problem. Some said it could be the HDD or the ram or my PSU...
I formated.
From what I can see the problem is even worst now. It just freezes at the loading bar about 10 secondes in. And Norton Ghost seems to not work in safemode.
I think I'm ****ed.
So my PC had a problem for awhile (well for a year, but I just ignored it until then). When I started it up, the WinXp load screen would appear and start loading, then 3 things could happen :
1. It loaded in 2 secondes.
2. It took like 5 minutes to load then it loaded.
3. It took 5...
I am currently using X-530 speakers with a Soundblaster Audigy2 Value.
I was thinking of upgrading to Z-5500 and the basic X-Fi sound card.
I was wondering what kind of difference it would make in terms of quality?
Will it be like "OMG that's amazing!" or more like "Yeah there's a...
