The switch is the perfect system right now to get a family into gaming. They’re cheap, readily available and have a great library of games. The Nintendo online family plan is also a pretty solid deal.

I recommend trying Facebook marketplace place. Usually you’ll find lites posted for $100 or less. Gl.
