Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

I was 8:05pm EST on the 19th....I've heard nothing other than the original "you're enrolled" notification. I've checked spam and promotions, so I haven't missed an email.
Mine went to spam, I got an alert on a discord that I am on that emails are going out so I checked , and sure enough it was there.

Wow, that is contradictory to what I have been tracking. So it is a lotto?
Seems like it is possibly a lottery, or something else is taken into account? For example I did have an active NV account with a 3080TI in my system and the NV app installed. That may be a datapoint to track as well. I also had a 4090FE at some point.

I have used NV GFE and NV APP since its inception - always logged in and used to load drivers for past X number of years since GFE came out. Only problem might be that using my IP they might know that even though my profile says I am in US - I am actually not in US and they catch it etc. and screw me over.

Btw new batch of VPA emails out. Saw some successes already.

They could be doing a lottery, but batching it by time period. If that's the case, I'm never getting picked given how early I signed up for it. Also, I'm guessing most people looking for 5090s already have 4090s so it may just present the appearance that they're mostly selecting 4090 owners.

Just hope they are not ignoring 5080 owners completely....

Eh. I'm expecting at this point to get one next year at this point.

I had signed up for this ages ago for a 5090 but not a peep. Searching around it doesn't seem like that many people have gotten one.

I signed up early on and still haven't ever received an E-Mail about one.

Me neither. Probably because I had a 4090 at the time.
I had a 3090 at the time. Rumor at the time this program kicked off was that you had to have had the GeForce Experience app running to count game hours and had to have a 4090. I did neither thing.

I game a lot but I don't use that bullshit app.

Agreed. The app is just another useless background program running.

Actually I use the app to select preset K for DLSS. That single feature alone is worth installing the app for as DLSS model K is a massive improvement in visual quality.

Not sure if there are other ways to achieve the same thing.

Nvidia inspector can do it too. I like Nvidia's shadow play feature too, easy/convenient in the app.

Got my VPA email notification on the 8th (weird birthday gift, given the timing), got "Offer Unavailable" messages at first that made me feel like I got trolled, but kept at it, retried in a few hours, and got my order through. FE at MSRP + state sales tax, as promised.

5090 hit my doorstep today, swapped out my old 4080, and yeah, the difference is noticeable, especially in unoptimized VR stuff where the 4080 was already marginal.

For those of you still waiting, the card box said "174 of 360" for Package Count, so at least 359 other people got their VPA notifications too, I would think. Just hang in there!

Yes, the 5090 is the beast for VR. The extra memory and bandwith make such a difference.

Never received the emails from this program, but time to try again I guess why not. Think I started trying to get in on this since the 20xx series for an 80 card, but nothing. Tried for the 30 series too and nothing again. Each time I just ended up buying a card from a third party and I didn't even try for the 40 series.

It's gotta hit eventually, right? ...........right?

It'll hit about the time you can get a 6080 for less $ :p

What sucks is that I'm seeing lots of people on Reddit and Falcodrin getting second VPA invites, as well as people who already have a 5090FE via the Best Buy method. I checked my "Enrollment Confirmation" email, and I signed up on 2/19 5PM EST (~30 minutes after the forum post went up at 4:35 PM). I'm fine with not being "selected," but I'm not sure why they can't provide a little transparency on how people are being selected, if it is indeed a lottery (it definitely did seem like 4090 ownership was a bias early on in March/April), or allocate at least maybe 50% of the cards in a FIFO queue, which EVGA did and seemed fair, and the remaining 50% for a lottery if need be. And stop sending them out to people who already have 5090 FEs.

I think being tracked by their NVIDIA App helps. I have thousands of hours in various games but I don't ever install garbage like that. I signed up about when you did and I've never gotten an E-Mail.

The NVIDIA app is great. It makes tuning my games super easy. I run it on multiple systems - yet no email, lol.

Signed up 2 weeks ago, bought a 5080 this last weekend, got the email about 30 minutes ago.

I literally setup everything when I fire up a game the first time. I don't need some external application like the NVIDIA app or the GeForce Experience crap to do this for me.

Good for you! I don’t. It’s easy! 😎

It worked great for my kids who never changed any settings in game but would just have GeForce Experience do it for them. I like to look at it and see what nVidia recommends the settings should be in my system.
