Nvidia RTX 50 Series Verified Priority Access Program

I signed up yesterday when the forum post was an hour old. We'll see what happens.

As I said in my other post, if Nvidia was really serious about this they'd be taking pre-orders.

Without them being pre-order and the type you have penalty or cannot cancel and no return allowed on working card, it is hard to make this work.

Like many I clicked on both the 5080 and 5090, with 0 attention of buying boths.

Millions will do this, 97% of the purchasse offer will not be acting on, the system will wait for 48-72 hours of each group of offer, people that do not act on them will not even take the time to cancel it when offered, just let the offer expire passively.

For Evga during Ampere at least, did not "work" much, for the skus I got offer more than 7 months post launch after I got one and I was one of the asshole that did not take time to go cancel my place in the queue for like 7 different skus... from a 3060ti to a 3080.
 
The attention will shift to consoles once GTA 6 is released. Demand for PC gaming will go down during that time, making it easier to buy a card.
 
I got selected for this to buy a 5080. Got f'd. Email came at 1220. My time to purchase expired at noon. I am pissed.

I was in the EVGA queue during the 3090 release and I never received any notification from them. None of this shit ever works for me. I can't get lucky in a whore house in Bangkok with hundred dollar bills hanging out of my zipper.

I got my 4090 FE via the VPA program. I was hoping to get lucky this time, but no go. I presume there will be weekly or biweekly e-mails going out for chosen participants.

No luck here. I signed up for the program as well as anything any other manufacturer has going on. This last week there have been very few 5090 drops to begin with. I'd say this was the worst week for availability so far. Hardly any stock alerts even compared to the previous weeks.

I got lucky in several Bangkok whore houses....but that's back when i use to have sex....then I got married and now no sex or whore houses.
 
RT performance and FSR4 image quality will be the deciding factor for me this time around. I'm not even going to bother trying to get a 5090 anymore- too many issues for too much money.
 
I have a 2080Ti so I probably won't get one until next year sometime.
 
I got one for the 5090 last Tuesday and received my card yesterday. They didn't ship out my card until late Thursday but some people got their cards with two days.

ya know, I thought about that. figured since I was logged into the old GFE back when that was a thing it would have counted. I don't think i've logged into the new app yet.

Yeah, it's annoying but you have to log in whenever there's an app update. Also sometimes I'd be logged out for no apparent reason so check every now and then.

Just from reading Reddit. Almost everybody or maybe even all people that got a 5090 invite also had a 4090. Also, most of them were logged into the app but I'm not sure if that really is necessary. They could probably pull the hardware data even without being logged in.
 
Well that must be why I didn't get any response, I'm running an AMD card in my current rig! :LOL::p

Being that I have a 2080Ti what do people think the chance is of getting a 5090 FE is sometime this year?
 
The 4090 thing is not true. I have seen countless people with very different cards getting emails. My understanding is it is moving based on date of registration and they haven't hit 20th Feb yet. That is when I registered and I don't have any emails.
Another reason last week emails were stopped almost mid week due to GTC truck lol. Think they might resume next week or week after.
 
I registered on Feb. 19, I'm using a 4090, and no luck with vpa so far.
 
3 pm PST on Feb 19th, using a longtime nv account and currently on a 5080 fe (4080s, 4070s n 4090 prior), nothing so far.
 
Yeah it is still on 19th so let's see. Hopefully all of you will get emails as well. Having a 4090 is definitely not a necessity.

I was 8:05pm EST on the 19th....I've heard nothing other than the original "you're enrolled" notification. I've checked spam and promotions, so I haven't missed an email.
