I need 4 sticks in the end but one stick any size would prove to me that’s what’s wrong with the server. I bought the server with 4 -4 gig sticks non-booting after changing 2 mainboard I ran across the detail that is cannot support registered ram.I’m pretty sure I have some. Give me a little bit to check. How many sticks you need?
buffered not registered ram
Yes your right unbuffered ram ddr3 I never realized the unbuffered meant the same as not registeredWhich one is it? Buffered and registered are the same thing (unless fully buffered DDR2)?
This is confusing. So you are just looking for regular desktop ddr3 ram?
Is it unbuffered ram?I only have ECC DDR3. A ton of it too…
