Ghostwire: Tokyo

I played about thirty minutes of it last night. The RTX reflections are really nice, but the controls feel a little wonky.

I plan on putting some more time into it over the weekend and seeing how it goes.

Yeah, from the reviews I'm not currently sold. Shame, because parts of it look amazing!

I feel the same...I like the weird, quirkiness of the game but overall it doesn't seem all that amazing to me...although I do appreciate the tech used in the game

The lighting looks good, but asset quality doesn't look that great. Or there is something that makes things look blurry. I will probably give it a try in the future as it does look interesting.

the textures do look low res in those screenshots posted a few posts back...the cars in particular look really bad in that first screenshot

I was enjoying it until they threw in some ridiculous grappling item where you have to fly between buildings while dodging enemy fire.

I deleted it because it's the same stupid shit I can't stand in Dying Light.

I totally forgot about this game and I kinda need something to play now. How stealth-heavy is this game? I generally hate stealth missions, but am okay sneaking around if it doesn't involve waiting for enemies to walk away and avoiding combat.

It's not stealth heavy if you don't want to be(Totally valid to just blast everything). I think I've only encountered one section so far where it forced it and it was super trivial/easy. Haven't played all the way through yet though.

Picked this up finally the reviews are good enough didnt want to pay 59.00 at launch plus tax.

Different type of Combat no stupid Guns think this will be fun but enemy variation might be bland.

Can't wait for your runthrough! I feel it's like early Cyberpunk- the city looks great but the game seems flat.

I was hoping they'd continue with the horror theme. The Evil Within 1 & 2 were fantastic and I want more.

This looks cool but not really my cup of tea, but I'll try it when it's cheap.

I hope they put out an evil within 3.

TEW 1 was a horrible port but once I figured out the work around to the problems I finished the game over a year later and ended up enjoying it. A bit unpolished. TEW 2 was a better game but not nearly as scary, and otherwise a step back.

Both felt like much bigger budget titles than Ghostwire. I guess they didn't sell well enough.

Game has working Escalators.

Game is worth 20.00 I mean Nvidia bundles it with their cards so it can't be that bad.

Evil Within 2 was better but 1 was eh, especially with enemies that one hit kill you it feels while you take 5 years to reload a 1 shot musket, and I don't mean I wanted a shooter. I mean for the game mechanics they had they didn't do it too well IMO.

So this game gives me Motion Sickness it's a problem for other people trying to work around it by changing settings.
Found a Reddit post on it giving other people Nausea.
Going to try Flawless Widescreen simulator for FOV adjustment.

Yeah that worked no more HURL.

Don't even attempt to play this game drunk on a roof you won't know where to go.

This game is just weird maybe too weird not really digging it cause it's so weird plus it strains my eyes but it could be the Vitamin C I took today.
The learning curve is different but I got used to it pretty quick. Would like to try this game on a Oled to see if that helps for eyestrain.

Ah when he says Stranger I suppose they added that so they sell more copies of the game.

Update: Just turned down settings game is hella lot easier on the eyes it wasn't the FOV making giving me Nausea it was all the extras
game still looks good without them. I'm level 6 now helping Racoons and stuf for XP currently got a Fire Bomb nuke and updated the extraction core which is good for extra XP.

Picked this up for only $25. Seems to be similar to Evil Within that it's being largely ignored, which is a shame. From what i've played so far this is a really good game, and it's visually a stunner.
