So after a good while running my Aorus Gaming 5, I made the move to the X570 platform and now am running the Aorus Master. Very nice features, this thing is built to take punishment. It was pretty much a painless upgrade, just took out the old and put in the new. On a performance level Im getting about the same as I did with the X470, and I expected as much especially since Im running air. So next up is the GPU, whenever the 3000 series comes out.

I am also waiting for the GPU as soon as the 3000 series appears, I will definitely buy something.

I also have rev 1.1 and Ryzen 3900X

I have money to burn on a 3080, probably not the TI though. As far as the revision I see the difference between 1.0 and 1.1, but Im not sure if there is anything much between 1.1 and 1.2, nothing that I can find anyhow.

My build started with a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master, unfortunately it was a DOA . I did have a backup new motherboard that worked Asus X570 E gaming.
I did want to try it though. Got a refund and maybe next time I'll try a Gigabyte.

Need to put in the Z590 I just got, finally got a CPU/RAM to put in it today in the mail. Put a Aorus 3080 in my existing HERO VII, but it was not happy and had periods of random blank screen/gpu fans 100% till I hard reset. I am hoping I have a smooth upgrade!

Love that board, have a few 1.2s here.
I had to send the latest one back as its POST CODE LED was missing segments.
Aside from that, it worked fine.
