I picked up the all black version from Best Buy should be here in a day it has adjustable bass and the earcups and 7.1 surround.
Never had a set of headphones with 7.1 so I'l see if they are any good.

With my regular Hypercloud headphones I ran over the cord with my chair about 100 times and they still work so they are pretty durable.

Simulated 7.1 sounds like echo tin cans lol it's pretty bad I tried a bunch of games with it I couldn't see anyone using this with the USB 7.1
So I took the cord off my old set of Alphas and it sounds good for 2.0 with a direct connection to my AE-5

The have less Bass then the regular Alphas the sound clean but they are still hot on the head after short use.

Just noticed it comes with not Velour some kinda synthetic ear cup replacement going to try those instead see if they are still hot.

Holy shit are these hard to put on lol I got one on maybe I should stretch them before I try the other cup.

Comixbooks do yourself a favor and get real headsets like sennheiser. I recently picked up sennheiser hd 58x and they blow away any gaming headset you could buy.

I have a set of those already from Mass Drop they were tight on my head so I bet the metal a bit they work out ok.
These Alphas with the new pads are really comfortable.

I have the alphas too but the audio is trash compared to the 58x

Bend them more, per the link above. That series of headphones (I have the HD600 at work) needs to be fitted to your head over time. Once there, they're the most comfortable headphones you're going to get with their level of comfort.
