Leaving dual XEON 5675, ECC is the last thing stopping me

Hi,
I have looked at specs of Ryzen 5 3600/3800. They both outperform an HPDL 380G7. Passmark test is about double than my dual test setup, while energy consumption is a fraction. If Ryzen 5 36xx supports ECC it is time to consider selling my servers and purchasing a single Ryzen with plenty of ram and a good motherboard/power supply. This will be my base to stert for my nowe ESX homelab setup.
Have you considered this step ? Do you know is Ryzen 5 supports ECC ?

Ryzen has the feature enabled. However, it is up to motherboard vendors to validate and support it.
 
And it's less than $400!!

PS, leaning on "QVL" support is bullshit, ECC works on tons of boards since X370. Many more than the single asus specifically list unbuffered ECC as supported. All of them support Zen 2 with a recent bios.

Since all DDR4 ECC unbuffered is about the same price, do yourself a favor and buy Samsung B-die.
