Small network switch brand quality?

Hey everybody. I've been in the Enterprise space too long that I need a refresher on SOHO brands. Can anyone give me a general pecking order on brand quality between the common ones?

Linksys
Netgear
D-Link
TP-Link
HP?

Specifically, I'm looking for a 4-8 port PoE "barely-managed" (web-managed) switch that supports vlans. L2 is fine. I don't need L3.

All of the above have products in that space for not a whole lot. Most call it Layer 2+, or otherwise specifically mention VLAN support.

I've been buying TP-Link pretty much all the time.They have some what are called 'Easy Smart" that give you more control over a unmanaged.

I like the fact you can go to their website and play around with the product emulators so you can check the functionality you want is there and also get up to speed before the product arrives.

I ended up ordering the TP-Link TL-SG108PE. It was pretty much the only choice.

Ubiquiti is another brand you might want to look into.

So long as you stay with their EdgeMax switches- their Unifi line is a bit 'needy' if you only need one device.
