Hi,

I know this is an old topic but got an EK Velicity Nickel cpu block I want to pair with a Hardware Labs Blackice Nemesis xflow block that I believe is made out of copper. Will there be any issues with the two metals playing well with eachother?

Thanks

They will be fine.

Copper and Nickel are very close to eachother in the anodic index:

Generally speaking for harsh wet environments you want to keep the potential difference at 0.15V or less. The difference between copper and Nickel is 0.05V, so it is considered safe.

In fact, most Nickel blocks are nickel plated copper.

(Also note that the difference between Copper and Aluminum is 0.60V, which is why these should never be mixed in the same loop)
