On the bright side, maybe by the time Nvidia ships there will be some games that support RT/DLSS...

Yep. I had overnight shipping too.Got the same email. So, since I ordered overnight shipping, does that mean they'll be nice and refund it?
Has anybody got a shipping notice from any flavor of eVGA 2080 TI?
As far as I am aware not a single 2080 TI card has shipped from a preorder for ANY manufacturer. All of the 2080 TI cards shipped so far have been for reviewers and not for actual customers. I checked every forum I could find and I didn't see any credible evidence that someone "preordered" a 2080 TI and has already received it.
I think this is a pretty good indication that there actually is a significant issue with the cards and Nvidia has issued a "Do not sell" order for the cards already produced.
It is likely that the manufactures were able to modify several of the cards to get them out to reviewers. However, even those cards were late. Now they are trying to play catch-up and fix the large quantity of cards they have already produced. This is the only explanation that makes sense because they really aren't telling us anything about why they are delayed. It would be terrible for the success of the card if everyone found out they could be defective.
That's what I'm hearing in UK and EU forums as well: no one has seen a 2080 ti ship yet.
EVGA just started shipping 2080 TI cards today. Looks like they will go out today and arrive tomorrow for those that chose next day air.

I placed the order at 12:28PM 8/20, which was actually on the later side. By the time I ordered, the MSI and EVGA Ultra had already been sold out.
This is definitely a case of first come first serve based on what they're getting in from the various AIB's.
Domingo,
What card did you order and when did you order it?
