Ready to move on from Noctua fans, looking for black/white fans for slim radiators

In the process of piecing together a new build using the TT View 71. While I had a great run with my Noctua fans, I am ready to move on to something that is a little more aesthetically pleasing.

I have Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 280mm & 360mm radiators. These are slim radiators. So I am looking for some fans in either black or white to pair with them. Don't need LED's but if they have them, they can't be obnoxious.

Appreciate everyone's input!
 
Corsair ML series are great.. also check for the newer noctua black fans
 
For corsair's offerings I prefer the Corsair SP fans

While the ML series are quiet, the SP series are designed for radiator use with higher static pressure (SP :) ) and a higher top speed to cram more air thru a radiator when needed. When the speed is not needed, they can be dialed back to be every bit as quiet as the MLs.

Now for the "I don't care about noise" crowd there are the high speed 38mm thick Delta AFB1212GHE and panaflow NMBs which are hella powerful and loud. Just never, ever plug those into a motherboard header!!!

Nearly double. Impressive. I just like to be able to set my fancurve and then forget it. Without PWM can you do that? Do newer motherboads allow for voltage control direct on the motherboard.

It's very important to me because this computer will be about 2 feet from my head.
 
Yeah they can handle that via voltage variation. At least the boards I used those fans on did (used them with a Corsair i115h AIO cooler). If your motherboard doesn't Speedfan should work for you.
 
Going to be using an aorus gaming 7 z370 board. Might have to order a sp120 and see how it works with the board and then go from there. Looks like it will work better and be cheaper.

Some cheap motherboards used to fake PWM with voltage control and thus damage real PWM fans over time. It's okay to use a 3 pin fan in a 4 pin header and use voltage control (if available) but just don't ever use a PWM fan that way.
 
take a look at the cm jetflows too. they are ~95cfm and 2.7pressure vs the sp120s ~65 and 3.1.

Over 27mm H2O Pressure on the Delta? GOD DAMN!

Of course, as a Delta, I might have to put the case in the neighbor's basement.

Yeah those are some of the hairiest 120mm fans on the market. And they get LOUD!!! You would definitely hear them screaming from the street outside your house. They have another model that puts out 252cfm and 36mm H2O pressure. @65db you might want to invest in some really good earplugs.

I have one of the ~2500 RPM, 103.8 CFM Panaflo 120x38mm fans and that thing can jump around on the desk if it's not secured at 12v. I haven't used it for anything in a long time but I keep it around just in case it becomes useful for a crazy project.
 
Phanteks F120XP would be very similar to the Noctuas if you're looking for silent fans. They also make a MP 7 blade version for radiators with a denser fins per inch, but they are buzzy compared to the XP. Then they have a SP version that uses voltage regulation instead of PWM. Since your radiator's FPI isn't that dense, you could focus on the cfm; higher static pressure fans might add some unnecessary turbulence noise.

Personally loving the MLs from Corsair. But I will be honest that beyond these, Noctuas, and cheap shit fans. I dont have much experience in fans.

After doing some more research, it think the SPs are a no go. Doesn’t look like the brightness can be dimmed. These are
Going to be about three feet from my monitor so I need to be able to turn down the brightness.

Brings me back to the MLs. They seem to be the highest rated fans that check all the boxes. PWM, leds, adjustable brightness, and decent static pressure.

Amazon has 20% off with Amex points, so I’ll probabky be using that to order me some tonight.
