Yeah, weird subject, but sometimes computers are weird.

I've noticed that my Enthoo Evolv can resonate with my voice if I speak loudly, or when I sneeze. The front panel will start vibrating audibly after speaking. It's so weird.

Anyone else seen anything like that with a case before?

I don't yell at my case.... Maybe it's due for you to get some outside time. Hmmm? Perhaps?

Yes, Gaurana. I don't shout at my computer while it's on; most of my verbal abuse happens while the thing is in pieces on my workbench, but I've experienced this too.

In my case, the three Gentle Typhoons in the front of my Evolv would set up a harmonic resonance at a specific PWM frequency, and get that solid aluminum front panel a-singing. I tried setting up my fan curve to jump right through that speed range, but it was close to load temps and as such would constantly bounce around that notch in the curve.

What I eventually did was ditch the splitter and set each fan on it's own header on my Aquaero, so I could define their curves such that the three of them were never running at exactly the same speed - about a 50RPM offset seemed enough - and then the singing frontplate sang no more.

But yes. I've experienced that weirdness too. XD
