Product Manager Addresses Criticism Of OnePlus 5’s Design
https://www.androidheadlines.com/20...addresses-criticism-of-oneplus-5s-design.html
My comment to this;
You can easily get rid of the camera hump, you make the entire back of the phone flush with the camera, by adding in a thicker battery. If the iPlus 5 ships with a tiny 3,000mAh they are F'ing dumb. I thought their motto was "never settle" well they sure settled on a small battery, this beast should have a 4,000mAh to truly make it record breaking.
And the design of this iPlus 5, it's not sort of similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, or kind of like it. It's a freaking carbon copy, almost exact clone of the 7 Plus. OnePlus doesn't need to do this, they were better off with their main design matching the shape of the older Nexus phones, like the Galaxy Nexus, and Nexus 4 and 5, at least copying those old Nexus phone designs makes sense, as the OnePlus line is basically the new Nexus phone. But to blatantly copy Apple so exact, is disappointing.
Man, I'm really stoked to get me a new OP 5. I hope hope HOOOOOOOPE the battery life doesn't disappoint.
The rumored 3300mAh with a SD835 is enough to last all day and more. So I think that's big enough. What I want them to do is give me a phone with a camera bump. If that means more room for you to also put in a bigger battery, I'm all for it. But at $500, this gets to G6 and HTC U11 territory. So the deciding factor will be camera - hopefully the DxO folks fix that issue.
I am so sick of smartphones coming with these baby 3,000mAh batteries, even 3,300mAh is meh, and just lame. OnePlus is always saying "Never Settle" and they better have not just "settled" on a 3,300mAh, but actually had balls to put in a 4,000mAh battery.
Did they mention dual sim?
Which did you go with?Just bought mine, I've got a OP3 now and have had the OP1 and OP2. Since I didn't get the 3T I'm going for it.
Fuck it, I ordered the 128 gb version. I'm going to regret being the first in line on this, I know I am. I sweared id never be an early adopter a long time ago and look. LOOK.
My little brother just texted me and asked if I'm still going to sell him my 3T. I forgot I promised it to him when the 5 was launched. So, my order for the 5 is in the pipeline. Went all in for the 8GB/128GB model.Fuck it, I ordered the 128 gb version. I'm going to regret being the first in line on this, I know I am. I own a 3T (purchased about six months ago) and comparing on GSMarena, I don't see enough updated items to easily justify an upgrade.
Dude buying one of these doesn't make you an early adopter lol, they've been around for years! You'll love it I'm sure!
Just jumped on the base model. I've never come close to maxing out storage on my current 64GB phone, and with unlimited data and cloud storage for everything didn't see the point in going for the top one.
Where did you get info on a 5T December release?OnePlus 5T coming December will have the 4,000mAh battery and SD836 processor.
