I would play the hell out of a D2 remaster. The ONLY reason I quit playing was the damn bots and spammers. A remaster might help refocus their attention to the issue.

This fad of HD remasters has to stop.
The two things I would wish for them to change if they did it was to make loot drops like D3 where it's your own because you know people will have PickIt up and running shortly and to have the stash accessible throughout all characters in the season with tabs you can purchase. Those were my only beefs with D2. I remember joining mule parking games to transfer gear from my MF sorc and praying the game didn't time out, which it did sometimes. Lost some good drops that way.
is the stash tab just when you buy the second chest icon on the top of the stash?

Possibly related to Diablo sequel.
Ironically that picture is how Grim Dawn's devotion system works.
or looks like Skyrim's skill system
Pretty sure it just had to do with it being Libra season. The article didn't seem to show that the photo had a thing to do with the game.

Thorns / Bombardment 'sader is pretty strong
Heh, liquid rainbow... And, um, dangit! I really thought I had completed most of the seasons, but apparently didn't but the stash tabs or something. I only have stash 2.1. Nowhere near enough to give each toon it's own stash tab, and the frikken DH alone fills a full tab with basic set items.
Do you really need that many special gems? I've been just keeping a couple of each.
Depends on your definition of "short period".
During Season 5, I played Invokers sader (that's when they revamped the set majorly), but I was running around in LoN Blessed shield build before I clocked 100h of playing time, and I didn't initially even aim for the build either.
it starts in 2 days? Didn't 7 just end Friday? The end of this week. S8 Starts on Friday.
I know the feeling. Did Crusader in S5 (?), and it was fun (that was the first season of invoker + boyarsky) but I plateau'd fast. Since then it's been Monk and then WD.I'm starting to waffle. I'm really not enjoying higher tier builds of Crusader. I may just go to Monk... ugh, I dunno. Or maybe even WD.

Might go with DH as that was my original class back when I first started D3. Wifey has concerns about balancing two mana pools but I may convince her that it's not that hard (it isn't).
I used to play Wizard as my first D3 class in general, but its playstyle completely grew out of my liking (flashfire is NOT my idea of fun, and Monk's Dashing strike is closer to teleport than Wizard's teleport, ironically). The set I would like to use isn't nearly as powerful (I used to use Frozen Orb rather faithfully in early RoS days).
I suddenly had an urge to play Hammersader during last season, but unfortunately, the set wasn't Seeker (I am actually not a fan of either Roland or Akkhan's, they are amongst my least favourite set, though it isn't saying much).
I don't know, a lot of builds in D3 grew to the point where I really don't like them. I used to like Wizards, but now I don't, WD's HT set changed to something I am not terribly interested in, and I just hate barbarian in general.
My playable build pool is getting smaller lol... It's really just becoming Captain America, Multishot, Hammersader and One-Punch monk..
Invoker was interesting, up to until the point where I was basically standing there waiting until the physical phase of CoE to do any actual damage.
I am nowhere near as serious a player as you guys. I played through D2 many many times and only picked up D3 earlier this year. For me its not as re-playable, even with the expansion. Adventure mode just gets really dull. What am I missing out on?
I don't see where the long term playability comes in. Must be going about it the wrong way.
