SFF Case for mini-ITX GPU/MB

yea ive tried contacting them as well as gtek but i do not receive anyhing from them or costumer support. thanks tho.
 
So i notice a new paypal option on hgcomputers that I am pretty sure was not there before. I went with it. I hope I'll be getting a case just like you guys now :)

I wish we could get a statement from Gtek or someone at HG.

I have emailed them multiple times and no response. He hasn't been on this forum in months.

I personally want one of these very badly but the lack of communication is very unnerving.

I feel bad for the people who have ordered right now because as of now the website has been taking these pre-orders and there have been literally no update on the status of the device.

You guys could be waiting weeks or even months. I wish we could get an update.

Same, considering I'll be buying a Nano next week for the Osmi... sent an email the day I ordered and still no response.

Yeah, hopefully everything went according to plan! I'm surprised they don't try to communicate with just a single Facebook post, tweet, email, etc.
 
Been nearly a week since I bought the case and sent in an email...

Just wish there was some other acknowledgement other than that one email they sent to that guy more than a week ago.

I don't know... anything would be nice...
 
Yeah, agreed! I wonder how many they're getting made, and how many orders they have? Maybe priority goes for those purchasing full computers.

That would make sense, I guess I will take solace in the email confirming my order I got last week.

I'll be purchasing a Nano this week and wanted to hold off installing it until the case arrived but I think it's going straight into my M1 at the moment...

Shouldn't be too hard to transfer, the nano is looking like a pretty sweet card, perfect for the Osmi!

Ah interesting, I was wondering if we would pick case color or get both shells–– never got an email from them, I guess I'll write in that case.

Just curious, what color did you pick? I think I like the contrast of the white frame with the black top, but not sure if the white would become an eyesore.

Extreme red flags incoming.

1. I could not find the first quote from HW360, but I did find the other ones.

2. Second quote was a blatant rip from an H440 review from Benchmark Reviews, not Tweaktown: http://benchmarkreviews.com/12188/nzxt-h440-mid-tower-computer-case-review/7/

These two articles that I linked were posted in early 2014, almost a year before the launch of HG's website.

Now, I'm worried. Considering a charge-back, but I'm going to wait to see if Gtek can come here and explain this. :(

I thought I've seen a review of the osmi somewhere, but I can't find it anymore.
This is seriously worrying.

Could it be that all the pictures Gtek "made" of the case where actually really high-quality renders?

That's pretty damning. I'd never trust a site that quotes reviews without linking back directly to them.

I can't speak to anything else regarding Gtek/HG and this project, but I can tell you that the pics on the site and their facebook page are definitely photographs of a real prototype and hardware, and not renders.

So, the pictures of the case are real, but we have absolutely no ideas about what is going on regarding the production of the Osmi and regarding the fake reviews.

If I remember correctly, PayPal offers a 90-day buyer protection policy for all purchases that involve an invoice (which this purchase did).

So, we have 90 days after we purchased the Osmi to receive a refund from PayPal in case this falls through I believe.

Alright great. I really hope it doesn't come to that though! I think the design is really fantastic and am hoping that we'll see these appear in the next couple months.

Same, if Gtek doesn't come in soon, I'm just going to pick up the A4-SFX from Dondan.

I need to downsize and the Osmi was perfect for me (ODD, 3.5" drive support, 8.1L, etc.), but as of now, not looking good. :(

Unless anyone of you is receiving an answer until tomorrow, I'm going to call out clairenet as a liar.

The account is 3 Months old, all posts were only made in this thread and they seem to be the only one getting a response from HG. That sounds fishy.

Sorry if I'm getting aggressive here, maybe something really bad happened to Gtek and he just can't reply to anyone, but everything about this screams scam right now.

I discovered the case here so of course I didn't have an account 3 months ago, I'm french, I follow french forums. I thought it was natural to share what little information I have, but I guess it was a mistake.

Well on the circumstances this seems like a reasonable assumption. If it isn't, I invite everyone else to tell me and explain to me why.

Reviews on the site are fake, the email support doesn't answer anyone but you, messages on here and on facebook go unanswered as well, and now the site is down. Nothing of this would happen without a word of explanation from a reputable or trustable company.
I do understand that there may be problems that justify some of this, life can get in the way of everything, but it seems sketchy to say the least.

Of course it is your decision to delete your account and not participate anymore, but doing that and removing all your comments in the process as well just makes it seem like you're backing out, trying to remove evidence.

Again, if anyone thinks I'm in the wrong here, please, please tell me. I'd really like to be mistaken in this particular case.

Hold on! I, and I'm sure many others really appreciate that you've reached out to this English language forum. I can't imagine any circumstance where it would make sense for someone to lie to a couple people on some forum about receiving these messages–– especially considering that those who used paypal can still get file a dispute even weeks from now.

Maybe the reviews on hg-computer's website were just place holders that the webmaster plopped in there and forgot about? You have to dig a little to find them.

But given the accusations here I have no will or time to defend/justify myself. All I did was share information.
I could printscreen the 2 emails I received but people could still say I made then up, so I'd rather just stop participating since i'm a 3 months old newbie ;).
