290 prices?

Thanks man, this at least give me some hope for reasonable AIB prices. Who would have thought I'd be looking forward to buying from tiger direct vs newegg, they were always my last choice LOL. Horrible.

I've bought my last three generations of video cards from TD. Can't say I had any terrible experiences, and I didn't have to pay tax like with Newegg.

I have nothing really against Tiger other than price differences, newegg had always been more affordable, no taxes and faster delivery. But now it's a completely different story.

newegg just mad they were selling these at $380 before realizing how much they were in demand. Just vote with your wallet and don't pull that trigger until it's back to msrp.

Looks like the new XFX is already out of stock.
All the other 290's are also out of stock again.

People are still snatching them up for $499.

I'm glad I was able to grab 3 last week for 350 each, though I guess I am part of the problem heh. They took a week to ship, but I should be getting them tomorrow, hopefully I can get some good hashrates out of them and have them pay for themselves.

How did you come across the listing so early? I couldn't find it under XFX products or under the full 290 list.

Got mine for $369... I'm tempted to put mine on eBay for some ridiculous price but I honestly don't really want a 780. The 290 is so beast.

No idea. Neweggs search/availability system has been really glitchy lately.
I guess that would be why only a few cards were sold in the first hour and a half.

Well I finally found some in stock at reasonable prices.

ASUS R9-290 438$, much better than 499$+ at other sites.

still 38$ above retail price but at this point in time I'm just glad I was able to find one.

I have a feeling many of those are going to end up on ebay. I just sold my $500 290x on ebay for $675. Someone really wanted it, right now, and they got it.. Was going to return the 290X and buy a 290 + waterblock. But, now that the 290's are going for $500..ended up with a 780ti because of some amazon gift cards I had.

A $500 290 wont flip for a profit on eBay. Even with the $50 masterpass discount, it would likely not be profitable.

$550 - $55 - $14 - S&H[~$10] -S&HFee[$1] = $470

Miners. Miners everywhere.
