I am thinking about building a low power mini-itx pc with Xeon E3-1220Lv2 CPU and un-buffered ECC memory WITHOUT a separate graphics card. I have read people suggesting that ASUS motherboards might unofficially support Xeon CPUs and ECC memory. I would like to ask if anyone knows the following about the Asus P8H77-I mini-itx motherboard.
1. Does it support Xeon E3-1220Lv2 out of the box?
2. Does it require a separate graphics card given that the CPU has no HD Graphics? (Asus website says that the mobo has Integrated Graphics Processor, does this mean it has onboard video chip or just that it supports CPU graphics?)
3. Does it support ECC memory? Will ECC memory work at all if the mobo doesn't support ECC?
Thanks in advance.
