27" IPS 2560x1440 monitor~90hz <$400 FS

Like I said, I messaged him last night about tracking info and he still hasn't gotten back to me. I want to send him another message telling him to cancel my order, but I'm kind of afraid to. What if he ignores that one, too?

I'm pretty new to Paypal and ebay so I'm not exactly sure how it works. I paid through my paypal account which is linked to my bank account....so I just send him a message stating I want him to cancel the order right?

But what I'm afraid of is him turning around and saying oh I already shipped your order, etc. So what I'm afraid of is....what happens if he refuses to refund me? Can I file a claim? Or am I shit outta luck because I paid with my bank account instead of a credit card?

Gaahhhh I don't know what to do. Would appreciate some insight from those of you with paypal/ebay experience.

well if he says he shipped it and no tracking you can file a claim with Paypal and he will be forced to either give tracking number or refund your money if he is bluffing about shipping. I am cool with it if he ships it and gives me tracking, canceling the order part is more for keeping him honest.

Alright. Placed an order for the Crossover 27Q LED-P model from Dream Seller.

Paid a little more ($432) but this is still a smoking deal. I can't wait.

I posted a few pages back about my order with green-sum and got blasted. I ordered it, emailed him a little over a day later looking for tracking and he told me it was being packed and I would have shipping info that day. Then he emailed me saying it was OOS and it would be two more days. I cancelled the order and ordered frome dcsamsungmall on the 13th, today it has already been through customs and has left Anchorage, Alaska. It is coming Fedex and shows the 19th as a delivery date, but at this rate I might get it Friday, either way, I had tracking info in less than 24 hours and it was actually shipped. I just think green-sum has too many orders to keep of with right now, but I still didn't like the idea of being told one thing and then another, kinda pissed me off. I am still waiting on the refund, but I used paypal, so if I do not see the refund tomorrow I will email him one last time and then file a claim if I don't see the refund within 24 hours.

I was literally about to click "confirm payment" with him when I got sidetracked and read these last few pages. So glad I did! Placed a order with samsungmall right quick :p

OK let's say I send him a message right now stating I want to cancel my order and I go and order from another seller. That's a bad idea, right? Because as far as I understand the order isn't considered cancelled until he responds to my message and we mutually agree on it, right?

I just want to avoid paying for 2 monitors when I only wanna pay for one.

Yup true thats why I am just waiting for his message, if he doesn't respond in 2 days and it is still not shipped. I will send him tell him that he is getting a negative feedback or neutral feeback, that will sure ring a bell.

I think he will end up shipping them soon, probably why he is ignoring our messages since he has two days to respond to a message.

Just hold out. Green will ship it. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait. ;)

I am pretty sure he will, thats why he is probably not responding to orders. He will probably come back with tracking lol.

Yea I just sent him an email about canceling my order. It seems that he is really selling more than he has. His feedback is pretty good and he seems to be really using it to his advantage. He told me last night that I should have tracking next day and 24 hours later i have nothing.

Forget that, I told him to cancel it, he has expedited shipping plastered all over his page and he has had two days to ship these out. Unless it is a one man operation this is inexcusable, he still says more that 10 available according to ebay listing. I think he is just banking right now, He has had 35 more orders after I bought mine.

So the one I ordered from dcsamsungmall on the 13th is already in Dallas and I might actually get it today if I am lucky depending on Fedex. That's two days from when I paid for it. So glad I cancelled the one from green-sum and reordered from dcsamsungmall.

So I am looking at all of these sellers and all of the different type of panels.. IPSB, IPS, QHD, WQHD, by like 4 different brands.

I am VERY VERY tempted to get one of these monitors.. can someone tell me or point me in the right direction of what the hell all these things mean? I don't need anything too fancy or crazy, but wouldn't mind having a pretty nice monitor. Thanks!

yeah I saw that and ran.

You're afraid of swapping out a cable with the wrong plug on it with one that's commonly available? Why are you on this forum again?

They're all the same panel, it's merely a question of if it has speakers, how many inputs (you want only DVI -- means no scaler, which means no input lag), stand type / bezel type, and if there's glass over the screen. It's generally agreed avoiding the glass is a good idea since there is often dust stuck between the screen and glass. The Achieva Shimian, Crossover, and Yamasaki Catleap are the most popular models at present.

I just received my order from green-sum yesterday; I received a newer-revision catleap SE with a flawless panel. No dead pixels and minimal backlight bleed. Mass Effect 3 is so beautiful on this glossy IPS screen, it's unreal.

Then this would be a nice Monitor to get then? I see that it only has the DVI-D which should be fine. It says the input lag is 6ms. Does that mean that this is probably not that good for gaming?

6ms is response time, not input lag. They are very different things. Please do some general reading and research on LCD tech, it's good stuff to know regardless. PRAD has great reviews and general info.

.... don't mind me. It was a long time, I know the difference between response time and input lag lol.. hell they are self explanatory. I am just not too familiar with IPS panels. Guess I should read up on those. GRR! Someone please stop me from grabbing one of these!

These are some awesome looking monitors. I really hope these sellers continue to be reputable so that in the next few months when I am looking to upgrade, I can get in on one of these deals

I wouldn't hesitate. These prices are too good to miss the deal. They'll figure out price fixing soon and inflate the prices by $150.

Oh, and for the people looking to purchase, I made the mistake of ordering the Crossover 27Q LED-P version, when I could have saved some money by ordering the non -P version. I don't need the pivot. I was just in a rush and super tired last night. Oh well, I hope the stand is quality.

GreenSum shipped mine yesterday. Got tracking. Hopefully I get mine Monday.

Double same. Mine was ordered Sunday Night and its still not shipped. Starting to piss me off a bit. I guess there goes my fun for the weekend.

I ordered two from green-sum on Monday. Doesn't show as shipped yet in eBay, and doesn't have any tracking information listed. So, I guess I'm in the same boat as some others - waiting on him to get more in stock to fill the orders. I'm not in a big hurry so it doesn't matter to me much, but it's kinda deceptive to sell stuff on eBay that you don't actually have. :(

He told me he got hit with a lot of orders like never before and apologozed
.

In for a CatLeap 270Q. Here's hoping the wife doesn't kill me.

BETA - Holy crap you scared me.. I thought that monitor you linked was listed as OLED.. Was gonna pee myself. Its actually Q270LED

>.<

Sorry if this has been addressed before but do I need to buy a power converter with any of these monitors?

You don't need a special cable. Its the power brick that does all the conversions in voltages necessary, and as far as I can tell, they are all the same between all these monitors. And yes, all you need is a power cable that can fit into U.S. outlets.

Heh, if that were the case i'd pull the trigger with no hesitation.

Ok, so I got my Catleap in and did a quick setup:

The good:
Fast shipping.
Well packed, bubble wrapped was thick.
No dead pixels.
Looks amazing, so much it sucks looking at my other monitors.
No problem using a regular computer cable with the power brick.

The bad:
The silver back plate was broke off. I was going to remove it anyway, so this saves me from having to take it apart. There was no damage to the box or the inside, it's just flismy.
Backlight bleed is worse than my Dell 22" IPS LCD's. Again, not a big issue, but you can definitely see it.
It's a 2C, so the most I can get out of it is 65Hz.

The meh:
The stand does not lean like others, but it definitely is not as solid as I would like, but I am going to mount it anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
The included DVI cable is short, so will probably need a new one.

I will post pics in a bit, have some work to do before I get to play.

I have been lurking this thread for 3 days now, on the fence about getting this deal. I keep reading everywhere about input lag and refresh rates, and I honestly don't know if I care enough about these numbers to jump or skip this deal. I know what they are, but I never heard anything about these numbers when I bought my current monitor.

I have a Dell 2007WFP 20" monitor that I want to replace. Its served me well and I love that it has multiple inputs. The Catleap Q270 LED Multi has multiple inputs too, but I keep reading cries over input lag. Can someone just tell me if the input lag is better or worse than my current monitor? I'm happy gaming on what I already have, but I don't want to buy a monitor from across the globe and have me hate something about it.

Alright. Placed an order for the Crossover 27Q LED-P model from Dream Seller.

Paid a little more ($432) but this is still a smoking deal. I can't wait.

Post some info when it shows up. This is the one I am interested in.

The input lag comes from the fact that it has multiple connections. If you get the catleap that doesn't all the HDMI, DVI, VGA or whatever inputs, and ONLY has the DVI input, then there is NO input lag, though they are subject to 6ms response times (should be fine for gaming. equivalent to a 720p tv).

Damn.. Both the 2 new ones have ugly ass Bezels also.. Still looks like the crossover for me.. Though I am ordering at the end of the month probably when I get paid some backpay from work.

I'll wait for the mad rush that has developed on these. Sell off the 23" 3x that I have and scoop up 3 of these. Who doesn't need 7600 pixels? :p
