Have that same desk, its in my basement using it as a laundry folding table right now not bad considering it was clearance for about $20 when I bought it

the desk, mousepad, kicker sticker and mecp book tell me you work at Best Buy?

You would be correct on your assumption, been with the company five years now. Through high school and now half way through college. Overall, I love my job. I hated it when I was on the sales floor though, now that I'm an installer it's great.

I worked there for 4 years during graduate school selling computers. Got offered (and refused) manager positions several times since I actually knew what I was doing. It was a fantastic job at the time, and in the end actually gave me skills I use/will use as part of my career.

Whats the story on the Defense Grid poster? It looks cool, and its really neat that its signed.

One of the other staff members from LanOC got that for me for Christmas. We do a secret santa with our community and that is what he thought of.

It's awesome that everyone that worked on the game signed it and wrote a little something for me.

Freaking love that game. I hope they make another or keep doing DLC. Trying to hit the 100 hour mark for it in Steam.

Hasn't changed much since I took this pic, so here's last years pic since my desk is a little messy ATM :(

The people skill are what have helped me the most, I've taken 3 communications and presentations classes and loved doing. I couldn't talk to anyone in high school, I was terrified of it. I ended up getting a job there because of my computer background and really liked it.

Surround sound make no sense.. rears in front.. fronts on sides... BRWWWAAA .. Brain fail!

It's totally backwards, haha, I know! For some reason I didn't realize how large the SS-B3000's were until they showed up. I plan on moving my setup to the basement where I'll be able to properly set it all up. ;)

Here's my humble setup. I like anand am much more productive on 1.5 screens than 3 eyefinity ones

My setup isnt that great atm im getting 3 hd monitors and a side table to put my pc on

Not sure what laptop that is, but it made me REALLY miss my old Dell 9300. What a beast of a laptop it was.

Here's a cellphone picture of my set up.

I've got a G73JH powering my single VE278Q. Going to build a SFF or mid tower desktop sometime in February or March, and then send this bad boy to a friend back in the states (sans the SSD that is currently in it, definitely keeping that).

From left to right: HP 2335 23", LG L246WP 24", HP LP2465 24", all 1920x1200.
The Dell 2001FP on top of the right speaker is hooked up to a secondary pc, a Q8400 with 8GB ram.

specs in sig, upgraded right before christmas.

... says n00bie...

Love that you store pics of your desktop in your pr0n directory Jason.

lol i don't even have a pr0n directory. or a mac/linux system for that matter. I was merely saving a place to put my pictures later on...i shall do that now.

What desk is that currently? It looks nice. Any idea what you will get out of a custom desk? I find most of the more expensive desks are ergonomic or have a "business look" and have no room for a computer or cable management. Any enthusiast desks out there the way they make enthusiast AV stands?

@Halloween - To echo Tankerton, I'd like to know what desk you are currently using too - looks very sharp.

Sorry for the late reply, the desk is a Jahnke CS285, http://www.theplasmacentre.com/furn...line-cs285.html?cpgn=8&icid=I163-2919708-020N

I will be in a smaller room than present and want to make the most out of all the space, so shelves, possibly wall mounted monitors, dedicated cable management system like trunking, etc. Will get my Uncle to do it so shouldn't cost a bomb. I know there are a few companies here in the UK who do custom home and corporate office set ups so there should be similar worldwide.

depends on the camera of course, but 800 is a bit too high for such a well lit room, 200 would be fine :)

Inspiron 6000 :)

Still doing a good job, now about 5 years old. Upgraded it a bit but there is only so far you can go. Runs win 7 pro no problems. Ideal for email/movies etc.

States Centrino Pentium M 1.5ghz, 2GB DDR2 5300, 60GB+320GB HD, Radeon x300 64mb. 7pro.

:D

Mine is a mess right now, i'm redoing the office area with a lot of new things .. the next months.

Ok, placed center speaker above, surrounds are now behind me like they should be. Better camera used as well. :thumb:

When it comes to computers, the camera may not add weight, but it certainly does seem to add dust specks.

Here's mine

Nice stuff in here. Here is mine, a little messy at the moment. Didn't bother to clean up.

^^, nice to see a fellow WP7 owner! :D

That 13"er isn't driving the setup, though, a desktop hidden under that speck of yellow (FT03 case is under that, behind a moving drawer cabinet) powers this :D (until I find a powerful 13" laptop with DP output - maybe by Ivy Bridge :) - then I'll depreciate my desktop).

EDIT: since much of my work is now done on the run, with my iPhone 4S/Keynote.....

Call it the price of stringent business line use rules, and app developement responsibilities.

All you need now is a Blackberry and a Nokia smartphone and you'll have them all. BTW, which one is the business line?

Setup in my flat for my last semester of college. Can't wait to be done, but looks like I'm never living a lone again, getting married 2 weeks after graduation in May, hahaha.

Anyway's this is going to change in May, and I will update then.
