Well done! Love the use of a two post rack. What wire management do you have on the side of the rack?

That is Telect "Links" - used in carrier grade telecom offices for fiber cables. I had a bunch left over from my telecom install days, and used it as vertical cable management on that rack as well as under the desk. If you possibly notice in a couple pictures, under the desk the same red fiber tray is under there. That hides all the MANY wires to my monitors, phone, keyboard, mouse, headset, etc - tons of wires are hidden up and under the back of my desk by the same cable management. Obviously I painted them all red as well from the Telect yellow.

Here is what they are:

I was feeling pretty good about my setup until I saw Frank.:eek::eek: But here's mine anyways:

Picked up a Jerker table and swapped out my other modified jerker at the office. I'll get some better pics tomorrow.

The arm itself is a Chief KTA325B. The arm is attached to a piece of 1.5" galvanized steel pipe that is threaded on one end. That is threaded into a 1.5" floor flange which is bolted to the desk.

schapman43: I have that same style/color Jerker. :D What's the name of that cable organizer thing mounted on it?

It is a piece of Chatsworth vertical wire management that I cut down to size. I need to pull it off and paint it to match the desk.

LMAO - hey man you got a great set-up there no matter what else is posted here. Some rigs on this site puts Frank in his place without a doubt, but really what matters is does yours do for you what you want it and need it to do and from the looks of everything, I would say it does. Love the pedals thing - pretty awesome with a steering wheel and all. What kind of mouse is that?

Your monitor arm. I must have one. lol where did you get it?
I use a Planar triple monitor stand - if interested, you can check it out on TigerDirect here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6401359&CatId=2466 I am using it with 3x Asus 24" monitors and it works very well for me. Just an alternate option if you needed one. I noticed his seemed to have a custom pole/desk mount solution so if you are looking for stand and arm, this is an option for you.

wow nice red case. I thought it was going to be a ati build but it was nvidia?

I am going to just jump out there and assume you were talking about Frank and all his red accent pieces. Yeah, his DNA is totally Nvidia and EVGA, no doubt on that one. Three GTX 580 3GB version GPU's in 3WAY SLI.

New lease on life for dads old chair
Not fond of hiding wires because i change my setup so much

Wish I had that when I was a kid when Mom and Dad put me in the corner for misbehaving.

I would find reasons to get in trouble just so I could go sit in that corner - what am I saying, I stayed in trouble, cool corner or not - nm............carry on :D

Frank is a scholar and a gentleman, in addition to a modder, because unlike many others he also got a great chair to go along with it. Always surprises me to see folks spend thousands on their PC while they are sitting on a $50 walmart chair.

LMAO - only those that "know" - knows what that chair is, means, can do, and is all about. Yeah, considering I seriously spend about 80% of my waking time in here working and then a ttimes gaming at nights, I had to have a chair worthy of long hours without ruining my back. My wife got me that for my B-day back in July when we went to Sante Fe - it was one of those very rare weeks HM was having a 15% off sale + free shipping. We were walking by this store downtown Sante Fe, I saw this chair and had to go in and take a look. The sales person told us of the sale, it was a no brainer as they also made it an online sale and saved me sales tax on top of it.

I agree with you though on the contrast at times - nough said

Ohhhh probing atoms now are we - should that be noted as NSFW? lol

Nice lab with the little Dell XPS on the floor - is that the interface to the rest of the gear there or are they all seperate pieces you get to turn the knobs on? Labs are so cool, I would go nuts in them wanting to Overclock, Sleeve, Mod and juice them a tad more.............Ha you go ahead and probe the atom, I am gonna mod this piece over here - tell the atom it if it moves, I am gonna smash it in my collider.

I have one of those chairs at work. I HATE it. lol. I would take my leather (read: vinyl) executive style chair that i won at an auction for $25 any day. but that's just me :D

Then you probably haven't been using the right sized chair or don't have it adjusted right. When setup right they are the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in.

+1 - when I first got it I was like - well its OK. Then I took the time to call CS who walked me through how to adjust it to my frame and sitting style - now I would never own another chair, its like sitting on air, no pressure anywhere, its just heaven............ :D

I got the adjustable lumbar support and the leather wrapped arms - great additions IMO, the adjustable lumbar and arms was well worth it.

I have an aeron at work, and a chronos at home. While the aeron is more adjustable, I find the chronos just as comfortable. I can sit in both all day with no discomfort at all.

And the chronos is several hundred bucks cheaper.

I've never seen the Chronos.

I found one of those chairs in the garbage with a broken support piston. Took a $0.30 washer to repair it. Missing the lumbar pillow but everything else is fine. Thank you unknowing consumer for throwing away a chair with a 10 year warranty.

can't wait till i get the keyboard and mice to complete their product line.

wish they made cd-rom drives......:)

Nevermind, I didn't realize there was a 9mm version of the M16 for police! :O

Hehe. It can be fit on backwards for a staged shot.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VWIeK-LQc0

Well that woman in the photo looks like she sucks with firearms. She's chicken winging her stance badly. She's also loaded the thing backwards. Whether for staged shots or not, it's horrible that she's so badly trained with firearms, or so disinterested in their operation that she's capable of such bad behavior with them when they are tools she must use and be familiar with in her duties as a Police officer. I'd probably fire her or look for some reason to shit can her if I were her boss. That shit is embarrassing to the department. Either her department failed to train her right or she's a terrible officer with regard to firearms who should never have been cleared or qualified to operate / carry an AR-15 / M16 / M4 rifle / carbine.
