So far from reality.

Just by watching the beta videos, prove wasn't abused at all.
 
Prone really wasn't an issue in the Beta, even on Caspian Border. If somebody didn't move after they killed you, it was basically a free set of dog tags. :D

Plus the sniper spot light that comes standard with rifle/ballistic scopes really makes it hard to miss.

Somehow I'm skeptical that you, and all the other people that were complaining about random irrelevant crap in beta saying they won't play if "X" isn't fixed or implemented will actually boycott the game :rolleyes:

Depends on the situation and the gun. The AEK-971 seemed to be full auto only at very close range, otherwise single shot was preferred. The G36 had a lot of kick to it, like the 971, but it seemed more controllable under full auto after the first couple shots.

The M27 and RPK are the only LMGs that have select fire and I rarely used them in full auto. Spacing out the magazine to 3-4 a second with single shot was very advantageous, I believe.
 
The 971 had kick to it? Are you kidding me? That gun had almost 0 recoil, I could full auto people halfway across the map.
 
Do you guys think that the Strike at Kirkland pack is only available at preorder or is going to be available day one?
 
Think I read somewhere that the actual Karkand DLC won't be live until a month after launch.

Yes, it did. The recoil had a very similar pattern to the AK from Counter-Strike (vertical) and I thought it was the most unwieldy of the guns that I used in the Beta. Adding the foregrip helped if moving in anyway *considerably* but it was still noticeable.

Return To Karkand will be released roughly a month after release.

its not coming out at launch, its the first dlc, which you get free if you preorder so that means when it does come out you will have to pay for it if you dont pre order
 
Okay forgive my retardation, but the DLC comes out a month after the launch, so does that mean that pre-orders get the the DLC for free when it's released a month after launch or do pre-orders get it free when the full game launches day one? I never was clear on this.:D
 
Pre-orders get the DLC for free, and the DLC launches at the same time for everyone regardless if they pre-ordered or bought it separately after launch.

Anyone who flew a choper in the beta, did they use the height up/down system like BC2, or the throttle system like BF2?

I assume there is some monetary return in receiving a lot of hits or what? Never quite understood how those power house YouTube channels that make original content on a weekly basis are able to make money from it. Ie. EpicMealTime, FPSRussia, etc.

throttle, BUT, most joystick support was broken. Really hoping key mapping and joystick support is fixed on the 25th.

Welcome to Earth... no one is ever pleased with anything, not just in the world of gaming.

I'm glad they put prone back in the game. Makes things more realistic and makes for more tactics.

I think they make money or break even because of sponsors and/or advertising.

They make a lot of money off of the youtube profit sharing (ad money). It can be pretty profitable if you bring in weekly viewers.

Glad to hear that its throttle. Dice said that if joystick support wasnt fixed before retail, it will be a major priority in the first patch.
