No word on that yet, possibly before the end of the year

Yea "Stream failed". But its probably them working out the kinks before it starts.

agreed! the sounds are crisp and tasty as well. and each "hero" seems to have a lot of character to them. the environment is looking delicious from the trees to that water! everything just looks impressive as far as i can see.

my only gripe so far is the old cliched KILLING SPREE sounds. they should have created something new for this game.
 
Love all of the lag they're experiencing, half of them can't seem to move half of the time.

But yeah, I love the art style.
 
For a minute there, I thought it was an issue with the network on my end, then I realized that I'm not actually playing the game. xD
 
Small hiccup. Its fine now. I gotta admit this game has serious , serious potential to destroy LoL.

Very looking forward to playing it if I get lucky enough to get an invite.
 
Looks great. I don't play HoN or LoL, but I used to play quite a bit of DotA a few years ago (mostly as Lightning Revenant, dude was fun as shit with attack speed+ items), so barring some kind of catastrophe I'll most likely get into this.
 
Color me unimpressed. Greatest thing DOTA could implement is a buyback limit in this game. iG made some big pick offs happen that could of won them the game but all of EHOME had infinity farm and got ez cheezy roshan kills with the scourge map imbalance.
 
Just got to work, looks pretty good. Did I just hear the unreal killing spree sound?

Signed up last night. Never played DotA and I'll probably suck ass at this one. But, as long as its fun!

Largely dependent on the teams playing but after perusing a few VODs on joindota.com for the most part it's slower than HoN and on pace with LoL.

Edit: Don't have to take my word on it, watching H4nn1's HoN stream a few days ago and Swindlemelonzz stream, Kebap and Akke pretty much confirm that HoN doesn't have the pacing issues that plague LoL and DotA (though those two games have completely different reasons for their pacing). Kebap and Akke are HoN pro's in Online Kingdom's HoN team with H4nn1 but they're all ex and current DotA pro's. Kebap is currently playing in the invitational with GosuGamers.

Thats disapointing...I didn't like the art style of LoL, but most importantly I felt HoN play much "faster". Not in the sense of the teams stradegy but just how all the units moved around.

Hopefully I will be able to watch some vids when I get home to get a handle on it.
