Fixes the multiplier hard-limit for 2500K/2600K cpu's, no more hard wall of 47-50x randomly. It's the setting that Intel had exclusively at first pre-release... now all can aim for 55x multi .

The voltages listed by CPU-Z are not accurate as the tool does not have proper volt reading for Sandy Bridge yet.

So alot of people seem pretty comfortable giving these 1.45v for extended oc's. Has something changed on Intel's official voltage guidance? I though 1.38 was about as high as you want to go?

i'd read the Intel white paper (when released) before cranking the voltage

1.6-1.7v is ok if you have the cooling to handle it. DO NOT exceed 1.8v.

I believe that applies for Gigabyte boards only...Asus boards are fine as it's reading my voltages within reasonable distance with LLC changed to different levels. Gigabyte boards' VTT is being read instead.

Regarding mATX, I thought all P67's supported overclocking regardless of form factor? If they don't, I may simply get the EVGA board as it had the pci-e slots where I need them.

also, if i'm reading the thermal spec (warning, ~3mb pdf) correctly, the T_case_max is 72.6 C at full load (95W). page 44.

Tcase can't be measured accurately with software. More info can be found here. You have to rely off of the distance to TJMAX.

It'd be nice if I could INSTALL the 1053 bios. The bios flasher says it's not a valid EPI (or whatever) bios. And without it, the auto-OC that ASUS uses blue-screens my computer.
