what would cause insane TPF scores

running project 2684 (big adv) went form tfp of a 19 min-20min range to over 30min range now.


machine is not being used except to fold with atm.
 
28-30 minutes will be about right with that machine on a 2684, They are significantly slower than every other bigadv. There is nothing wrong with your machine.
 
are you running the gpu client?

virus scanner?

or are you comparing a different WU TPF to the 2684 TPF?
 
guess i was comparing it to other units that were getting like 19min tfp. guess this is the first unit ive had like this where it was 30min tfp

most units go 19-22min tfp never seen a 30min.

no gpu.

The P2684 is very slow even for a -bigadv WU.

BTW, this is OT but I was wondering how you like the H70? You're running quite a high OC on the 980X. Impressive. :cool:

i love it. i had a h50 on my q9300 and love it so i got the h70 when i ordered the 980x. In a couple days im switching out the h70 for a full blown W/C setup my son got me for xmas.

hoping to get 4.7ghz f@H stable or higher.
