Which shooters are those piscian18? I have only seen it in SWAT4. I'm a die-hard realism guy so flying a CAP mission in Falcon 4.0 for an hour and not firing a single round is fun to me.
red orchestra did that and it did not even have ammo counter. nice game.

The AKS-74U can use whatever load of 5.45x39mm ammunition it wants, subsonic or supersonic. I don't even know why you would use subsonic ammunition given that by base the weapon is not sound suppressed. Which would give you a slow small round.

I am also a little confused about your stance on bigger slower rounds versus smaller faster rounds? In the first quote you indicate that the grach with its 9x19 would be better suited since it would be a faster round, however in the next post you indicate a smaller round is less power.

i went from talking about guns to use in a Video Game, to guns in real life.

i agree to many snipers.....and aircraft in the game are a bit squishy. nice change though because in previous battlefield games........aircraft pretty much ruled the game and commander strikes.

This guy made me realize it would be a waste of time to try Arma 2. Bullets don't make for fun games, and I prefer the fast paced action and different weapons of TF2.

The Battlefield series has always been about arcade action and never about realism. It would have been nice if they starting weapons were different for each side. So that there would be a difference between choosing a team other than the vehicles. In addition the choice to sue future weapons not in production is silly. The XM8 was canceled by the US military as a replacement for the M16/M4. Yet its your first unlock int he game.

It's not based in this reality. It is fiction. The Russians aren't really invading America either.

It may not be completely realistic in every sense of the word, but to me it seems great at bullet travel. There's nothing more satisfying than aiming well over someones head and killing them from a distance that would take several minutes to sprint to.

Choppers need to be buffed badly. AA guns need a hard hard nerf and they don't need to respawn in less than 5 seconds.

Yeah I kinda miss the design they put in Battlefield Vietnam. Actually was fun playing both sides.

Very true, often I see a chopper sitting there, ignored and lonely. Weedy deathtraps in the hands of the majority, tracer magnets and metal sky coffin.

I love jumping in the blackhawk and immediately *landing* it right next to the mcom station so it provides cover while we plant, with a fast start it's practically a free mcom. Most people just use it to fly around in circles till they get shot down, or nose dive it into the ground as they parachute out. Benefit is when you land, people know to get out, and you have a whole squad right there together with a giant barricade protecting them.

And if you happen to have the blackhawk fully loaded right when the enemy has to fall back you can steal an mcom at the next area before enough of them fall back by landing it next the the mcom as cover too. It really is great at absorbing shots.. as long as you aren't in it.. but if you are in it.. yea, death trap :)

What the blackhawk really needs is a steady cam-mount for the miniguns.. soo impossible to hit with that thing the way people have to fly the heli to keep it in the air.

Cannon fodder to me.
