Obviously not pushing back hard enough. 5.5 months and counting. Let's hope that the push from GPU to CPU benefits us more than EVGA.

And congrats everyone. My milestone seems to be a small drop in this sea of points others are putting up.

Assuming it does take them 5.5 months, we'll be passed within weeks of my birthday :(
 
I spend most of my time lurking, but just noticed I hit 1 million mark (1,013,747 at the moment). Guess this is worth a quick shout no?

hell yes its worth a shout! i spent 6 years on my first million. Just hit my 3rd million.
 
It's accelerating. Took almost a decade to hit 1 million, but I blew past 2 million within a year. :eek:

You guys will laugh but I have hit my first personal milestone. I have just finished my 10th Windows SMP WU!!!! I have done 9 on my sig desktop rig, and 1 on my HP laptop with a 2.5ghz Turion X2 Ultra processor. From now on, I guess future SMP WU's I complete will get a bonus score right?
 
As long as they are A3 or bigadv they will, if you are running the latest SMP client and have the -advmethods flag you'll get the bonus
you'll get stuck with an A1 that is slow as heck but everyone gets a few every now and then

Yeah, i'm not running the -advmethods switch, I I think I turned that option on when it asked me that question during setup and I set it to yes. Should I be setting that switch manually as well?

Lucky for me, I havn't gotten stuck with an A1 yet as everything has required the A3 core.

There's no need to manually enable the -advmethods switch. It was necessary previously in order to run A3 workunits, but it is not required any more.

Ahh thanks as that clears things up. I figured it wasn't needed anyway since I have only gotten A3 WU's ever since I went Windows SMP with my desktop and laptop.

Big or small, a milestone is a milestone and every little bit counts. :)
 
I put Fermi in so I'll be slowing down for a week (only 45k or so, no more 60+ until SR2)

but, I passed 8 mil today, Kendrak, better order a few more of those hats, I hope to make a run for top 10 ppd soon and what better way to break in than in a pimp hat?
