i guess i'm an idiot. Though I had a weird reason for buying it. It has an IPS panel and i'd do anything to not use the TN panels on laptops for couch/bed/bathroom use...lol

Something so many people are overlooking. The panel on the thing is fantastic.

Why are they gushing about something that is [for lack of better terms] a complete and utter waste? It lacks a large amount of functionality, doesn't do anything new, and is more expensive that things that don't lack all of that functionality. I fkn hate Apple - Part Six.

Not at all, it was the first thing I noticed, its very nice. It probably won't work well in bright light like the sun because of the high gloss but you really need screen designed for outdoors for that to work well.
