Oh man it is so hard to resist making “justice is blind” jokes right now. Must. Resist. Temptation.

Weigman used his skills to target "employers, landlords, families and friends of multiple party line participants," often in the hope that they would be fired or evicted from their homes, the DoJ said. Sometimes he and his group would cut phone lines, or listen in on victims' conversations.

Swatting 911 calls? I don't feel a thing for this criminal.

He wont see the soap dropping....

Wow, after reading the article, I have to say their activities were extreme. I'm glad he was caught.

Hopefully they're no easier on him than they would be on any other prisoner. This guy did some really messed up stuff.

I don't understand why anyone would do something like this. I guess he's lost sight of who he is.

DOHOHO

Its easy to make those kind of disparaging remarks sitting behind a keyboard, isn't big man? Stop being so insensitive to the situation and look at it through his eyes.

I am and I can't see shit. :D

Maybe he will end up in a blind prison where they have to play shower room Marco Polo to rape each other
Perhaps he will finally see where he went wrong :)

D'OH!

By definition the crimes that they are accused and convicted of are acts of terrorism and they should be treated as such.

This thread is so great.

late to the party but, lmao, a blind kid and two hackers show up at my house to intimidate me? good luck...

If movies have taught me anything, it's that the scrawny blind guy usually winds up running the prison.

I understand your point of view. But remember, justice is blind and I believe it's been properly served.

haha thanks wilsonrdfl, I haven't LoLed so much from a single thread in a long time haha

Don't thank me, thank Steve for having the foresight to kick this thread off with the "justice is blind" joke. The man is a true visionary.

""Weigman, his brother, and another swatter named Sean Benton drove nearly 70 miles to the investigator's house in order to "intimidate and frighten him""

real smart

Drop him off in front of the victim's families and let them exact their own justice upon him.

He propably told in court that he "couldn't see the consequences" of his actions.
