Previously Kyle posted some pictures (and a video) of our upcoming CPU-345 blocks. The CPU-350 will be released alongside the CPU-345, but will offer better performance in higher pressure systems. Like the CPU-345, the CPU-350 will be available with either an acrylic or black acetal top.

Very nice.
Is there a bracket on the underneath surface of the MB???? Or just a bolt???
I apologize, but I've not had a Koolance product.

We have a Koolance rep here now? Awesome. I've got a question for you, I'll start a thread.

Does the top actually screw on ? I cannot see any fasteners to attach the top to what must be a metal base ?

If so A+ for innovation and elimination of concerns of stress fractures.

I also like the mounting ring and the step on the outer edge of the the block that, unless I am mistaken, will accurately position the block perfectly centered over the cpu without having to even think about it.

Can you tell us what the base is made of ? It does not appear to be raw copper in the pic.

Are you going to come out with a Mid-Tower case with a Koolance unit built in, similar to the ones that you have now, except that open on the left side of the case instead of the right? That's the main factor that's preventing me from updating my original Exos to a PC3-725BK or PC4-1025BK. I don't want another Exos-type unit either, having the water cooling un-integrated turned out to be more trouble than I wanted when I went to lan parties or transported my computer for whatever reason.

I have their quick disconnects and those things are awesome. Makes taking the system appart so much easier. Looks sweet too.

Sexy block. Are we looking at block that will have mounting hardware for LGA 1366?

Yes it screws on =).
The base is nickel plated copper.

We are looking at many different chassis options, its a tricky business trying to choose the case that the majority of people are gonna like.

yes, the CPU-345 and CPU-350 will be natively 1366 compatible. Also our universal mounting bracket is available which supports 1366.

That seems to be a pretty radical design change (for the better) from Koolance's recent blocks, even the 345. The naming scheme is somewhat misleading, you would think it is only a marginal change from the 345.

I was under the impression that the naming scheme is related to the amount of heat that a particular block could remove from a given component, e.g. a 350 block could handle the amount of heat that a 350W device would put out.

Since wattage is not a measure of heat, I've always found that practice an odd one, but it is a term that many have heard, even if they're not familiar with what it actually entails.

Such is the way of the marketing departments......

I'm sorry if this was posted somewhere already, but any clue on how much this will cost and will it will be available?
