LIAN LI PC-V350 !!!

I was trying to get an idea of you load temps with the side panel off..my guess is you'll be in the 50-55 degree range under load. I just ordered two 70mm fans for the back of the case and I'm going to cut two 2.5 inch holes where my three 40mm fans are currently. I think that will keep that part of the case vented appropriately. I might have to file the fan casing down just a little to make them fit though, but it'll be worth it.

primed it with side panels off, and temps were in mid 60's still, this rig is running hot and i desperately need a HSF.

alright, just undervolted the crap out of my q6600 (VID 1.2875, stock speeds, stock HSF) to 1.040v (can probably still go lower) and i idled at 36c on core with side panels off. when i primed it, core0 never got past 55c, with all the other cores at 50c. seems pretty good to me for now.

furio..its the HardwareMonitorPro

for the P5QEM board using a long VC ..use the sata cable(left in black color) so you
can use 4 SATA port..

TO 2Red:

Hello. Nice rig. I wont to ask you. Fit the Noctua cooler well or some modding was needed? What I can tell. Its probably best cooler for this cube tower, Better solution then mini Ninja I Think.

Thank you

konias...no modding was done..the tricky part is how to install the u9b..
the last thing you will install is the PSU....motherboard 1st then the hsf(should be done inside the case)..

do you have temperature problem ??

i would put in my v350 a q9550 ( stock freq ) and a gx260+ with 2 hdd and 1 dvd-drive...
and for cooling the same cpu cooler who have you , the novtua with 92mm fan...

seb87..no problem so far with my temp at stock clock...

my 9800gtx reads 58-60deg...with side panel on...but even without a side panel..there is only 2deg difference which is not that much though

but your 260gtx generates more heat than my 9800gtx...i was using a 4870 asus before but i cant stand the fan noise...

i think 9800gtx+ and gx260+ have the same themperature...

i would to put two 120x120 on the side panel , left and right...

the fan who do you have are working at the max voltage ?

would a noctua nh-c12p fit in this case? and would it be a good choice over the nh-u9b?

this is for q6600 btw.

forgot to mention my psu doesnt have a fan blowing toward the heatsink, would that be a problem?

That wouldn't be a problem at all. As long as your PSU have exhaust at the back and there's at least 5-10mm in clearance between the 120mm fan of C12P towards the PSU :)

HTH

Can you post a pic of a motherboard tray out of the case ?

Am I missing something obvious or do I have to take off the front cover of the case to add the screws for the other side of my 5.25" drives?

I am really thinking about this case as my next mATX build. I do one like once every two months, haha.

you have to reach in from the hdd cage for the screws. the front cover doesnt come out btw,.

I'm trying to mount both sides.

I have a hard drive in the 3.5" converter.I can't really get it to sit level by just mounting 1 side...

i have no idea, all i did was put two thumb screws on one side of the ODD, i was just as confused as you are. sorry that i cant help.

also, why hasnt anyone mention the cooler master gemini 2 for this case?

would it fit? because its one hell of a performer.

Tremelos... nice backplate there...you changed the exhaust and psu orientation...your exhaust now is inline with the cpu cooler....

why do you make this ??

to have a 120mm exhaust fan. to get cool air into the case is no problem but to get the hot air out. and today mx Scythe Ninja (not mini :D) will arrive. because of that i had to change the psu position.

cool idea, do you have the dxf or other 2d/3d file of you backplate ?:D

would it matter if i get the nh-c12p hsf and use it when the psu doesnt have an underside exhaust fan? im not sure if the fan will be able to get enough airflo.

i have the earthwatts 380 and the fan is on the backside.

no more problems with cpu coolers (except scythe ninja  )
hope my thermalright will arrive soon.

edit:

Tremeloes that back plate is brilliant. About your hard drive setup, are you limited to only one hard drive when using the optical bay? I'm strongly considering this case and doing a back plate replacement similar to yours (though I want to run this system mostly passive), but my concern is having only one hard drive.

@Skrying
above my optical drive i can use only one hd. if you don´t use the two 120m fans you could put a hd there on edge under the dvd cage...
