im gonna go for that asian clean style. thanks many of the posts here for the idea. ive always like it.
That's a nice, bright place you have there, mnewxcv. Could you tell me where you got that wall cd rack from? Please.
I sit that close and no I can't. It looks just as good as my XHD3000 (everything is crystal clear). The lcd is a LC37GP1U. One of the greatest advantges it has over others is Vyper Game mode. What this does is give a direct signal from my console straight to the screen without any processing meaning there is no input lag. With guitar hero without any calibration in game mode there was 0ms lag. This is as close to a crt in terms of no lag that I've ever seen. Also I gotta say: i find it impossible to game on anything bellow a 30" now. It just feels so claustrophobic. At 37" all my games are completely amazing and really take me away from reality (also the blacks on this lcd are perfect and stalker at night time in the game is awesome since I can make out all the tiny details in the dark).Wohoo
What model is that? Do you sit that close, can you make out the pixel structure at that distance?
hAppy, thats one sexy giraffe in your picture![]()
Interesting... what made you switch to the 37" 1080p? What are the pros/cons of it vs. your XHD3000? I hope to buy an XHD3000 in about 2-3 weeks.Replaced my 30" with a 37" 1080p and after adjusting colors and dynamic adjust settings in the service menu I couldn't be happier with the extra screen size and performance (and no god damn mouse lag nor lag on my consoles!)
2560*1600 resolution is insane for gaming. Even with my specs most games have quiet a few low fps at times. Also xhd3000s problem is that everything bellow native res has INSANE lag. It is absolutely unacceptable. Forget about first person shooters on anything bellow native res (it's that bad), Your 8800gtx will not cut it at that resolution even with many lowered settings. I also use consoles with this screen and on the xhd3000 movement with a controller or a fighting game (super smash brothers, soul calibur 4, doa4 etc) or just about anything produces visible lag. The wii mote was unusable (mario galaxies, metroid prime 3 and so on all had terrible delays). Also the performance hit vs the resolution is not worth it to me. I am having a blast gaming on the 37" and games look spectacular at 1080p: there is nothing 1600p has visibly that I can notice that is better. It looks just as good if not better with higher aa and without the crapier performance, stretched UIs in many games and mouse lag at lower then native res.Interesting... what made you switch to the 37" 1080p? Is that a siverstone case?

But I wondering a thing becouse I using 2 monitors (One in VGA connection and one DVI connection and it's similar models) The VGA monitor is lighter then the DVI, If I get a cabel who have 2 head DVI from one connetcion or VGA to the PC will it be same light then?
