Here's my setup up at my new college apartment.

I have the Cherry version of that desk and love it. Are those Sony SS-MF55OH speakers? If so I have the same ones sitting next to my desk also. ha

based on his sig i would say they are Sony SS-F6000 Speakers ;)

it seems like that desk is getting really popular. I really like mine so far. for the price it can't really be beat.

They are mislabeled in my sig because i couldn't find the exact same model online. They are the same as yours, but i have 2x6.5" woofers in each of them.

Update on my "station"

HDTV cable box, Logitech G7 mouse receiver/battery charger and external hdd mounted on underside of table top. Remotes taped on underside of desk with double sided sticky tape easily removed by slight pull for use.

Can someone explain to me what is so fantastic about this "Jerker" desk? From pictures that I've seen all it looks to be is a table with large surface area. Everyone raves about this thing but I don't understand why.

Cheap and built like a tank. Also lots of ad ons and configurations.

This guys Jerker is a bit overkill but you get the idea.

its a big workstation desk and it holds a lot of stuff basically. not too many other desks can hold 3 30" lcds plus kb and mouse. and yes it is very solid i wouldnt be afraid of putting 4-500 pounds on it.

i don't think so ;). holds 75kg on teh top shelf max. thats not 4-500 pounds ;)

the elevated shelf I'm using for my 21" and 24" sony CRTS is probably holding a combined weight of nearly 200lbs (roughly 180 actual weight) sooo yeah it's damn sturdy, see for yourself
well don't risk it too much. i've barely over spec with 2 25 pound ups batteries and a 21 pound receiver. on the same kind of shelf u are using

risk? psh if they come tumbling down guess what? I'm buying shiny new lcds!!! risk? no. hope? :D maybe

as long as my kitty or my GF isn't squished by one of the monitors or both for that matter everything will be just fine! hahaha

extreme4377: Your (looks like bedroom) is SUPER CLEAN!

How do you do it!?

OCD :D. No, not really. I spend a lot of time in my bedroom both on the computer and doing other things with lady friends :)eek:...:D) so having my room clean just helps me move around and get things done without any distractions. My room used to be a mess as a kid then one day, I snapped and its been kept super clean ever since. Thank you though.

As for the Jerker being amazing, I agree. Its clean and simple and to the point. Who knew a simple table top could be so functional. And as for how much weight it can hold, I weigh 180lbs and I've stood on it with no problem. Mind you I knew about the weight limit at the time and was quite nervous taking a step onto the desktop but it held up quite nicely. I've done it multiple times since :)

but where the hell do you keep all your shit lol

no clothes on the floor, cds/dvds on the desk, shoes, money, glasses, pens/pencils, food, magazines, extra comp parts? If you have the answer I may very well change my way of living. :D

hahahaha it's probably all hiding on that part of the bed we CAN'T see. I wondered where his stuff was too when I saw his desk.

Clothes are in a dresser just to the left of the desk and also in the closet on the opposite wall of the car posters in the background, CDs and DVDs are in the closet, shoes also in the closet. Watch collection, clock, keys, wallet, sunglasses are all on top of the dresser to the left. Pens and pencils and paper and magazines are in the closet. Extra computer parts are also in the closet in a storage bin drawer unit. Everything is very organized in my room and in the closet too. Im a clean and simple kind of guy. Less is more type of thing :)
