I think the lamest part is Someono Is up to do it...but well this is the world after all, so for the world to be the world there has to be about everything....sighs!!!
 
That is just bloody awful.

I guess with the desired/impending Yahoo purchase, they could not take a chance on spending any more revenue on Stones music...

So it's bad for employees of a company to let loose and do something for fun once in a while? Guess we should be chaining all those employees to a desk while a manager carrying a whip walks around and barks commands about "hitting that deadline".

Egg on their faces, tech bloggers returned to their regular and comfortable duties: linking to a mindless series of non-stories about Vista's failures, Gartner reports, and the "Save XP" campaign."

With stuff like this (somebody obviously spent some time/money on this video) and the incredible amount of Vista bashing/misinformation going around I'm really starting to think there might be a big coordinated smear campaign going on.

I just read Thurrotts whole post and realized that Microsoft still made this video. Pretty stupid on Microsoft's part.

It isn't a smear campaign if it is true. That nobody questioned a video that was ostensibly celebrating the first round of fixes for what was broken software (Vista pre-SP1 was a mess, period) says a lot.

There is nothing wrong with letting loose at all. There is something wrong when the result is something embarrassing. :)
