I left my airsoft guns in because the empty corner of my desk is my 'workbench.' I'm renting a single room so the only other place to put them is the floor which, even though vacuumed daily, gets covered in dog hair in seconds due to having a husky. Wasn't intended to be "LOOK I'M HARDCORE I HAVE TOY GUNS." Didn't think it'd bug you guys so much.

I wouldn't worry about it. There's someone who's always gonna get pissy over that. I don't mind it personally (but then again, I collect older guns (WWII era))

there was some guy that would put guns and stacks of money on his desk and post them up here (the old thread). That is probably why you are getting all the hate.

lol, I remember that. It looked like something off of a rap album cover. :p

or it reminds me of this..

Unlike Mr. Airsoft, I have a real AR15. I don't know why you all have to comment on it, big deal. What a person owns is non of your business. If he wants his airsoft guns on his desk, so be it. I keep my AR out all the time when I'm home/awake. Whats wrong with keeping mostly harmless AIRSOFT fake weapons out?

@Lt.Col.Dehler
I saw that desk at a thrift store today. Glad to see I'm not the only one with more then one copy of BF2. I have 2 BF2 Cd Editions, and Complete collection on DVD.

Will post pics of my reorganized setup in a few min after I find the camera.

To all you firearm aficionados...

My Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 Watt Range pwns you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved finally. It's been a horrible year living in an apartment that was run by, and I mean this, a slum lord. Just horrible. I needed a place (after military) real quick and settled for the apartment. The best thing though was that he let me out of the lease.

Anyway, this is part of the new place. I showed these pics without caption earlier and have since added and modified some stuff. It's my second home and though I despised much of the added cost of owning a home, there's nothing like doing what you want, when you want to do it.

In the last place, there was no way I could have a large TV. The pic does nothing for the actual TV but you get the idea.

And the best part is having all the pets I want. Here's a pic of my lil doggy licking it up for the [H] folks :)

Maxpain: Your bedside wall-mounted LCD setup is the ultimate PC for the man who truly appreciates the sin of laziness. I love it!!!

You need to invest in a new camera, unless you got mad photoshop skill and made it look like that.

Edit: also is that a toilet seat I see on the 1st pic against the wall?

LOL i would love a new cam.....this one is all i got for right now though :(

As for the thing in the first pic.....its a slot car track that was in a $5 easter basket from walmart  ....i bought the thing for the track :p the candy was a bonus lol

@ NeoSlayer, how is that Java flavored energy drink? I havent built up the courage to try it yet, I'm stuck on the Mt. Dew energy drinks at the moment.
Nice setup by the way.
You should consider attaching the power strip to the bottom of your desk and tying up the cables under it, will definitely help clean it up, I took that approach and it took less than 10 minutes and now I dont kick the cables off their plugs anymore.

I love the Monster Javas, they are the only thing I will buy over a Red Bull. The only flavor I don't like, and actually despise, is the chi one.

I can't kick any of the cords behind my table unless I try. So since it is functional as it is, I allow my laziness to overrides my sense of ascetics.

That chair on 3rd photo is for punishing visitors ? :D

It is also used when I play guitar, since chair arms are guitar players enemies.

handicap, bed sores, omg, thank god no, i had a desk at one time and wanted a couch more so i got rid of the desk, needed room for the fam when they come over. i do miss the desk and chair but when i pull this monitor in front me i forget all about a desk. the first pic is my old old setup, and the curent setup is in my bassment.

Let me just say that I've had my PC bedside for years and years now. It's just so convenient to me that way. And it's even more convenient now that I AM disabled.

I've honestly spent the last two years in bed, only getting up for doctors appointments, bathroom/food/etc.. and I have no bed sores. They sound horrible though :p I wish I could set up my new LCD and computer like that though, mount it on the wall.. That's pretty nice. My neck hurts sometimes from having my neck turned to the monitor all the time. Thought about making some kind of shelf or something to have the monitor in front of me.. but can't figure out a way to do it. Wall mounted is a great idea though.

if not for the fact you can upgrade a desktop I bet a laptop would have met your needs pretty well right?

there is all kind of mounds out there, you just have to search, thats how i found my wall mount.you know the tables they have at the hospital that have wheels get one of them that would work. see if you can get somone to jack one 4 ya, money talks.
and nothing beats a desktop, i run a hpdv6000 laptop, i would never use this on a reg. just isent fast enohgh

I need to get me a set of those drawers.. that recliner looks comfy though.

Yee I have that exact same black jerker you're talking about. Mine came with the drawer off craigs list for 30 bucks ;] - Pro bargain miright?

I would use a laptop.. but yeah, the upgrade thing with desktops is nice :) Plus I suck at typing on laptop keyboards and using the mouse... And I feel like getting a laptop and using my separate mouse and keyboard would kinda defeat the purpose of getting a laptop :)

I also don't go out enough to justify buying a laptop.

I really have to get some time to clean the mess in here and get everything organized, esp. the wires that are everywhere... I didn't buy the Ikea cable organizers for nothing
But hey, at least I got a new chair... my other one sucked... then after it sucked, it blew.

This chair was supposed to be pretty expensive... but I got it for $130 :D Ahh, I love the smell of new leather. I'll post some more pics of everything when I get it all cleaned... which will probably be sometime after the Mayan calendar ends ;)

I like that chair. I believe it's part of the EZ line of furniture. I have their desk and accessory file cabinet but passed on the chair because I already had a leather one. Still, that one supposedly matches my setup according to officemax and I agree. Your chair has that stitch pattern which does match my stuff.
